"Jose was very personable and professional, and explained everything that was being done. I used this company last year as well, and they were awesome both times, and their prices were very reasonable for the jobs that were done. I had them come out last week to replace 2 sprinkler heads and then noticed the next day a different sprinkler head was broken. I called the office and explained the problem, and they said they would send someone back out and not charge labor, since he was just there the day before. Jose came back out today and fixed it and only charged me for the parts! I will definitely use them again!"

"Erik was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others. Erik was very professional, working the schedule we'd agreed to and constantly keeping us updated on his progress. He was very meticulous about his work and went "above and beyond" to make sure the project looked fantastic and met our needs and our vision for the project. Each day, he thoroughly cleaned up after work was completed and he made sure all exposed soils were stabilized and covered. He also always used plywood and tarps to protect our driveway and property, so that none of our premises were damaged in any way. He replaced and re-cut several wall blocks when he felt they didn't look as good as they should. We greatly appreciated Erik's hard work, constant attention to detail, and desire and effort to make the project look beautiful. We are very pleased with the end result."

"I had taken advantage of an outdoor faucet repair deal for $99. But when they came they said there was an extra charge because the faucet pipe needed to be accessed from inside the wall. This made no sense to me, since all faucets are connected to pipes in the walls of a house. I felt that the ad was not adequately and fairly described. I felt a little taken, so I declined the service."

I'm first sorry I did not go to Angies List years ago to leave a review.  I was not a member at that time and just didn't think about it.

Initially, Rob came to quote a build of a retaining wall.  After we spoke for a couple hours, he had some great ideas for what we wanted to do in our backyard and also indicated his crew built decks.  This was no small deck!  It was of my own design with several angles and cable railings.  He did an estimate for the yard and deck installation separately.  His bid for the work came in right in the middle of three I procured from local builders and his references were outstanding.  So ahead we charged.

Right from the start he had an eye for the details.  He nailed the stone selection right on based on my wife's description of what she wanted.  The rock was, and still is beautiful in it's character.  His ideas about the stair's placement and construction were simply perfect.  The wall turned out superb.

The yard was quite a chore!  The stump was 26" in diameter at the last cut and over 6' in diameter in the root system.  It took a full day of digging just to remove it.  The price he was charging me for the stump was too little for this much work and I made it right in the end.  Due to limited access, they could only get a Bobcat into the back yard area.  His crew made do with that and smoothed out a large area approximately 6000 square feet, brought in topsoil, and seeded.  Disaster struck just a few days later and a freak rainstorm washed about 50% of the seed down the hill.  I was just sick!  Rob and his crew re-leveled the yard and re-seeded and didn't charge me a thing.  A full day's work!  That's service!

Now the deck.  I had designed it and had drawings.  It was a second level of almost 500 square feet with stair access and cable railings.  The permit spelled out the code (way too many requirements from the county if you ask me).  His crew dealt with the code, a couple cosmetic changes, and they built a deck I was very proud of.  In the evenings, I helped with a lot of the details and his crew was very courteous and accepted my help without complaint.  This entire project took 6 weeks with the rain delays.  Just fine in my mind.

Almost four years later and their work still looks great!  I'm planning some front yard hardscape and I will certainly be calling on Rob again.

"Sione's crew worked a very full and long day to carve out a new driveway plus sidewalk. First, a tree needed to be removed and then some landscaping. Once that was done, the driveway work could begin. After assessing that the crew knew exactly what I wanted, I felt confident that I could leave them to do their work. When I returned, the driveway and sidewalk were almost finished. Some minor work needed to be finished the following day. By the time I got home on the second day, all was finished and the job site was clean and tidy. Sione and his crew were very friendly, professional and considerate of my time as well and disturbing my neighbors. A follow up visit from Sione was a pleasant and very much appreciated surprise.

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

You maintain a cesspool by pumping the tank every three to five years to prevent clogging. You should also have a septic tank or sewer system professional inspect the system once every three years. Avoid putting harmful chemicals and non-biodegradable items in the system to extend the life span of the cesspool.

Yes—septic tank systems are superior to cesspools in every conceivable way. If you’re not able to connect your home to a greater sewage network, a septic tank system and a drain field are great for responsibly disposing of waste. It’s also cheaper to pump a septic tank, easier to find a local septic tank professional than those who work with cesspools, and better for the environment.

Needing to pump the tank as soon as it “looks” full is a common myth about septic systems, as wastewater will eventually drain into the leach field. Instead, it’s better to determine how many solids have accumulated. A septic maintenance technician near you can test this to find out whether pumping is necessary.

Over time, your septic tank can accumulate a buildup of sludge at the bottom of the tank. If left unpumped and uncleaned, the sludge will back up into your pipes and home, causing failure and extensive (and smelly) damage. Repairs to your septic system can be costly, which is why regular maintenance is required. It takes about 30 minutes to pump a septic tank that’s 1,250 gallons or less or 1 hour for larger varieties.

Common drain issues include slow-running drains, whether in a sink or shower, clogged drains, a bad smell, and water backing up into a sink, shower, or bathtub. Causes range from hair, grease, roots, or toilet paper clogging the drainpipes to flooding outside the home, which prevents sewer lines from draining properly.
