"Randy and his team did an excellent job with my little project. He worked hard to work me into his busy schedule. The wall looks Great! He was easy to speak with and the only thing I wish he would have done better was to have communicated with me about the time line of the job. But yes - Great Job - Great Guys!"

"He was on time, professional, courteous, and he found and fixed the problem quickly (within 1 minute). But he didn't take my money and run, he checked out each sprinkler zone, fixing a few sprinkler heads as he went. He also gave me advice on my front pond that was having issues. Lastly, he gave me a great deal! I was very impressed overall. I plan on using them again. Thanks, Kimball!"

"So far, it has been an amazing experience. The whole team has been super responsive and professional. They said they would arrive at 8:00 am and they did! So refreshing! The crew they sent out were professional and did beautiful work. Still have one or two items to cross off once the dry wall is put in. Would absolutely use them again. I wanted to particularly thank Tom who was the lead at our site. He had a great sense of humor about our little barky dog and grumpy kid. Photos posted below are a before and after. The crazy panel was before. The flush panel is after."

"I bought the paver patio deal for 120 sq ft but paid the extra for 170 sq ft patio. Rockey came out to my house and we talked over the job.  I wasn't ready to have the installation done until after my house got painted, which was 3 months out.  He put me on his schedule and told me to go to Mutual Materials, make my paver choice and let him know 4 weeks in advance so he could get the materials ordered in time to do the job.  I had to push him out a week due to the house painting being delayed by the late September rain.  He stayed in contact with me through the rain delays and had no problem with the schedule change, which I really appreciated.
On the day of the job, everyone showed up on time and ready to go.  They even waited for me to finish covering the new paint job on the back wall of the house (the patio starts against the back wall).  The excavation was minor in comparison to most, he said, because I wanted the patio to sit above the grass level and he didn't charge me extra to do that.  I also asked for landscape cloth to be laid under the pavers so I don't have to deal with weeds and grass growing up through down the road and he did that too, at no extra charge.
They got the job done in one day, it looks great and I am very happy with it. When it came down to the final rows, the guys came and got me to go over an issue.  Even pavers came out to 13' 6" and they were worried it would be too wide since I had asked for 13' and they wanted to make sure I was happy.  I told them to make it 6" wider and 6" shorter to equal the same square feet and that way I didn't have any cut pavers.  I really appreciated that they asked me first instead of just cutting the pavers.  A lot of companies would just cut them and say "that's 13 feet".  I'm glad they cared enough to ask.
The patio looks great and I will absolutely have them back to do any more paver work I need.  The two guys who did the job were nice, cleaned up everything when they left and I even got to listen to one of them sing to the music he was listening to on his headphones while he was doing the excavating.  I don't know if he knew I could hear him inside.  It was pretty funny.

"I hired Jacob and his crew to renovate my old bathroom in Oakland. They worked fast to get the permits and had his designer to assist me with choosing the tiles and Vanity. The finished result was clean and elegant. Highly recommend these guys to anyone in the area!"

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

Modern septic tanks have two lids: one that covers the inlet where wastewater flows into the tank and one that covers the outlet where the treated water flows out to the drain field. However, older septic tanks installed before 1975 may have only one lid. Because septic tanks last 20 to 40 years, if yours only has one lid, it may be time for a replacement.

Over time, your septic tank can accumulate a buildup of sludge at the bottom of the tank. If left unpumped and uncleaned, the sludge will back up into your pipes and home, causing failure and extensive (and smelly) damage. Repairs to your septic system can be costly, which is why regular maintenance is required. It takes about 30 minutes to pump a septic tank that’s 1,250 gallons or less or 1 hour for larger varieties.

Pumping involves opening the tank lid, removing solids and wastewater, and inspecting components for wear or damage to maintain optimal function.

No. You should never empty a septic tank yourself because it involves working with specialized equipment (that you probably don’t have) and puts you at risk of breathing in toxic fumes. Plus, once you’ve removed the waste, you’ll need to transport it and dispose of it safely. Instead, call an expert for this job. On average, hiring a pro to pump a septic tank costs $550.

Septic tanks can clog if they aren’t pumped every few years since solid waste accumulates inside of them. Your tank might also clog if you have a habit of flushing anything other than human waste or toilet paper. Items like diapers, baby wipes, paper towels, cat litter, and personal hygiene products should never go down your pipes.
