"First started working with Joe getting a quote got 2 bids which the other was cheaper, but decided to get ranger since Mitsubishi is the “top line” he said which I googled and saw it too. We talked that he will put the drainage on the car port and the vent on the side of the house. So when the date of installment came Daniel was on time and he introduce himself. I let him do his job while I was doing my own with my 3yrs and 5 yrs kids. The job was quick so when I check outside I saw that the vent was mounted on my carport. So I called Joe and ask why it was mounted on my carport he said it was in the contract which I didn’t see on the instruction. And so I have to pay if we move it. I was so disappointed! Now I can’t close my carport if I want to get a garage since vent is there. So I have no choice if only Daniel check with me first right from the start what the plan is then there will be no problem! Well the job was done got no choice. Another thing Daniel have to come back two times to fix the drainage since it keeps on leaking my carport. It was finally fixed on the 3rd time when Jared was the tech that fix it. It was so disappointing and I regret that I chose ranger cooking and heating!"

"My wife and I had just bought a house (our first) and didn't realize how pervasive the stink of our crawl space would be until we had started into several other renovation projects. Our old insulation stunk of rat urine and the moisture barrier was littered with feces. As we got near the date to move in, we realized we had to do something about it. Daniel was very responsive in his bid as well as scheduling the work. We set the whole thing up in about a week. He brought in a crew of five guys and got the work done in one afternoon.
Daniel's crew did everything he had outlined in his bid. When I went into the crawl space afterward to inspect, the smell was completely gone. The new moisture barrier was generously installed and held in place with soil anchors. Every noticeable point of rodent entry had been stopped up with cement, and the vents had been reinforced where necessary. They also installed a solid door at the crawlspace entry. Of the utility penetration that I checked, all were sealed with foam.
My one complaint is that when they installed the rolls of insulation, they did not cut the rolls when they encountered cross-bracing. Instead, they compressed the insulation over the bracing and kept on going. I don't know if this is standard practice or if they were feeling rushed, but it was a detail I had not thought to specify in the contract.
Generally I had a favorable impression of them and felt like most of their work was of good quality.

"We found out the hard way during a snowstorm that our AWD system was no longer working.  I was reluctant to take it to the dealer, so I looked for an independent Volvo repair place.  I found a few favorable reviews for Turn-Key, so I decided to give it a try.  In general, this was a good experience.  It turns out, this was a very expensive problem.  The part (angle gear) was on backorder a few times over.  This led to our car being there for nearly a month.  None of this was their fault.  Craig did a great job calling all over the place (maybe even Sweden!) trying to get the part.  While the car was there, I also took them a trailer hitch that I had bought, and asked them to install that as well.  Anyway, the angle gear finally came in, and they had the repair done the next day.  After picking up the car, we were excited to have it back, and to have the AWD functioning again.  However, part of the repair involved an alignment, and something  just wasn't right.  Turn-Key doesn't do their own alignments, they take them to a place not too far away.  Anyway, I talked with Craig, and he said their job is to make sure it's right.  So we set up a time for me to bring it in.  His guy drove it, and agreed, something wasn't right.  He arranged for me to take it to the alignment place.  The alignment place wasn't all that helpful.  They tried to sell me a line about how it was an issue with the bushings, and that the whole thing had been laser aligned etc.  They claimed that the problem with the steering wheel not being aligned only occurred during acceleration.  This simply wasn't the case.  I got in touch with Craig again and we set up a time to drop the car off so that he could take it to the alignment place himself.  Finally, the issue has essentially been resolved, and we are are happy to have the whole repair process behind us.  I will absolutely not hesitate to use Turn-Key again for Volvo repair, or for our Toyota (once the warranty runs out).  I didn't find their pricing to be much different than what a dealer would charge, but I am always happier to support a local "little guy" that develops a relationship with me, and is committed to making things right.  This place really is a class act."

"Cardinal was referred to us by a colleague who used them for their new furnace install. The company was responsive, came out and gave us a competitive bid for several different products, and conveyed competence and confidence that they knew what they were doing. On the date of install the 2 technicians showed up on time, were polite and professional, and worked all day and into the evening to ensure the furnace was installed and working properly. They even hooked up our new thermostat that we purchased separately (including running a new electrical wire) at no extra charge. While in the house they made sure to remove their shoes without having to be asked. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away our old furnace. The next day after install we noticed there was some water leaking out of the condenser. I called that morning and they had a technician out that afternoon to fix the problem. Since then the furnace has run great. Very quiet. They also helped coordinate the inspection by the city inspectors. We would definitely recommend using them again."
