I requested an HVAC service call quote from G&S Heating through Angi, and received a "deal" via Angi for $129. I chose them partly due to that price. G&S Heating ended up billing me $280, and said that was an old outdated deal and would not honor it. Irresponsible and incredibly poor customer relations. Also, the technician they sent did not seem very knowledgeable or experienced. He said the thermostat reading issue I was having would require another service call and the possible replacement of an expensive circuit board. I ended up fixing the problem myself. I will not be using G&S Heating again.

We just had G&S install a gas furnace, water heater, and central air in our home. To get our business, this company told us that they were only 3 weeks out for installation and all other companies were 4-6 weeks. The prices were similar, so we chose this company. After signing the paperwork and setting up the financing, we get a call about scheduling a few days later. They tell us they're 6 weeks out and that the salesperson has been reprimanded. I highly doubt it. We were very frustrated, but with similar prices and wait times we didn't think it was worth switching to another company. Not to mention the paper work with the financing. So we just bear with it as it is the busiest time of the year for this industry. The day before the installation we are called and told that they don't have the water heater we ordered. They do have one that is the exact same in all ways (even cost), but a different brand name. Same warranty. We're very frustrated once again because they had to have known about this for a lot longer than the day before our installation. If I could I would give them 0 stars, but their installation crew was great. Very professional and timely. Answered all of our questions. This is why I'm fine with giving this review 1 star. I've called them and told them that I want to be compensated for the initial lie of their waiting period and complete lack of customer service with regards to our water heater. Have not heard back. tldr - Deceptive sales tactics and poor customer service. Great install crew. Go pay any other company to do what you need.

They sold me a one-year maintenance agreement which included two routine visits (every 6 months). I never heard from them again. I had to request that someone come out after about 9 months. I never got a second service, as I never heard a thing and my 12 months had ended. A scam if you ask me.

The crew arrived on time with -30 minutes phone call to notify me on their arrival time. Very professional, quickly installed a whole home surge protector on the wall next to the current panel. did the breaker changes as needed and left the area clean. All for a great price as well. Would definitely hire them again for future work.

The service man, Jacob, was outstanding and did the usual thorough inspection and adjustments where needed. He was very friendly and did an excellent job of explaining to me all that he was doing.

The work went extremely well.! Everyone was very professional. They were focused on providing good value and did not include "sales pitches". Everything went very well. This is an excellent company. And the cost was very reasonable for a brand recommended by Consumer Reports.

Excellent customer service! Very quick to respond to request for estimate! Appointment for estimate less than a week for initial contact, estimate given quickly and they did an excellent job on EV Charger Install! Charger installed in garage, electrical panel in basement. Will definitely use G&S again for any electrical work! Highly recommend!

G&S Heating is the best of the best! They just replaced our 1995 Lennox furnace that they installed with a 2020 Lennox furnace. The crew was phenomenal in craftsmanship and attitude. Our furnace is in the tight crawl space under our home which is a pain in the @#*! They really worked well together and it was so cool to learn that one of the guy's father had installed our furnace back in 1995 and he is still with G&S! Their entire operation focuses on customer service and satisfaction from the phone contacts to the sales reps to the job planners and finally the installers! I am giving G&S my highest recommendation and will have them install our new Kohler 20KW whole house generator soon. Thank you G&S... Tom H

G&S did an excellent job installing our new furnace and AC unit. The best thing about G&S is that they warranty for 1 year. The circuit board in our furnace failed within a couple of months (no fault of G&S). Manufacturers warranty would cover the parts cost but G&S repaired and covered labor cost under their warranty. Also they diagnosed the issue and repaired very quickly. Definitely A++ installation and service.

Everything went well and smooth with their help. I got the proposal with all details at the same day when they came to do the estimate. Our old furnace was built on 1971, and it was in a closet next to the water heater tank. When one other company came to estimate, they wanted to cut a furnace size hole on the wall facing the hallway to fit the machine and we have to find a constructor or handy man to finish, like to build a door or make it look good, but G&S figured out an easy way, which is to turn the machine toward another direction and eventually only cut a vent on the wall. It took two days for all the installation, and they cleaned up when they left and everything looked clean and nice. They also listened to customers. We didn't want the heat pump to be right next to the stairs of our deck, so they chose a spot which was few feet away from the closest spot without any question. We appreciate for that, since the wind blows out from heat pump is kind of strong, and we feel comfortable with where it is at now. One thing I really like is they were on time, and they called around 30 minutes ahead before them showed up. They also take care all the paperwork for the PUD rebate, Costco 10% shop card, and city permits, and all we do is waiting their call to arrange the time.

Said they couldn’t get out until after hours so I would have to pay a higher fee. They were able to free up one of their techs and arrived a few hours earlier so no after hours fee. YAY! Person who answered phone when I called was great. Asked right questions. Allen the tech did a great job. Will definitely higher again.

Excellent service from start to finish. John, Isaak and Nate have always provided great solutions at a fair price. They were able to accommodate our quick time frame and made sure every detail was in order and explained fully at final trim! We are happy to call them “our” HVAC guys! Would recommend them highly to anyone!

The whole organization seems well run and friendly. Both the office and the technician called to inform me they were running a little late. Eric was great, professional, and informative. I also signed up for their maintenance program of 2 visits per year.

All went very smoothly. Between the bid process, and the two days to do the work, they all showed up on time, did a professional job, and were more than happy to answer my many questions. And while I normally don't just go for the lowest price on things, Chris did offer the lowest bid. So that was a bit of a bonus.

One afternoon when leaving our local Costco we noticed a booth advertising Lennox air conditioning for the home. After the last 4 years of record summer heat, we decided to begin the process of investigating this solution. The appointment for the estimate went well with the entire process carefully explained and all of our questions answered. So, we decided to pull the trigger and buy the system. To our delight, company had an opening for the installation a week ahead of the original date and things only got better from there. On the day of the install, Isaac and his crew arrived on time and enforce. At one point there were 6 people and three trucks, all tightly coordinated. Everyone was courteous, professional, and fast. In a little over 6 hours the system was completely installed and thoroughly cleaned up. Overall, we could not be happier with this decision and highly recommend this company for anyone considering whole house A/C. Replacing 13 fans and 2 portable air conditioners is an elegant solution.

My brand-new furnace performed very well through the 4-snowstorm blast. However, a week later when a small storm dumped a few inches of snow, the heater started blowing ice-cold air through the house. I hadn't made any changes to the heat schedule, so it seemed really odd that the snow-cold air only made an appearance when the thermostat was programmed for below 70 degrees. The thermostat also would change the display colors to black-on-white occasionally, usually in the evening or early morning, even though the color combination is not the default and is not on the menu. I reached out to G&S, and they scheduled the workman immediately. When Tyler arrived, he checked the furnace and thermostat thoroughly, and although he said he couldn't find anything wrong, the heater started circulating air through the house that was warmer than the unheated garage. I said I would monitor the heater in case it did it again, and it hasn't so far. Spring is nearly here, and the air is considerably warmer, but the house has never felt like the heater was blowing air from an open window. Also, the thermostat theme has not reset itself. Good job!

Starting with the sales process, Nate was informative and great. Could've sold me a more expensive replacement system, but instead identifies how my current system cod be retrofitted with a heat pump. That sold me on G&S right there. Everything from the initial install review, the office staff working with my lender, to Izaak and the install and electrical teams, was punctual, informative and professional. I've had several bad experiences with other contractors, but I would confidently recommend G&S for any job and plan to use them again for a generator switch install. Good people with a good business. It went very well! I would recommend them and use them again. Ran a bit behind schedule but still worked efficiently to catch up on lost time. Units look good and excited to try them out! Had multiple interactions with different people and overall very pleased with everyone we worked with! Izaak, mike & joey were great
