Their level of professionalism, communication, swiftness in getting the job done, and the beauty of what my house looks like now are amazing. I have a 1927 bungalow that needed experts in lead removal. Though the front was in good shape, the Southside of my house had started to peel and a few boards needed repair. I contacted Shades of Rose owner, Tyler, and he got back to me right away! Unlike other painting places who sent their employees, Tyler made time & came out within the week to go over details with me. He was very attentive and explained the whole process & made a quote. His quote didn't change! We scheduled a time a few months in the future and he followed up with me both a week before and then the day before to solidify the time. Pressure-treated wood lasts at least 10 years, but with the right care and treatment, it can last as long as 40 years. Painting the boards is one way to increase the lifespan of pressure-treated wood. The layer of paint provides extra protection for the wood against the exterior elements and insects.
