There was an issue with the sink and once a call was made it was quickly resolved with no hesitation. That speaks for great customer service! They had a great team of workers that coordinated their schedules so the project moved smoothly, from demolition, to granite placement , plumbing then tile work. The tile workmen found a faulty electrical connection behind the drywall they were removing . They helped to get in an electrician the same day to keep the project moving. This was a great help as it solved a safety issue as well. Kudos for a job well done. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you!!"

From day one to completion of the project, Mr. Zavala demonstrated a “spirit of excellence” in performing every facet of the project with attention to details; integrity, which is a rare commodity in the contractor industry and a genuine desire to insure project met both mine and his high expectations. "LFC did a excellent job remodeling my master bathroom. Tony was very patient during our initial consultation and took detailed notes as I described my vision to him. We turned an outdated bathroom into a beautiful spa-like masterpiece. I surrendered a spacious linen closet in the space to get double sinks. We updated the plumbing, floors and cabinetry; added much needed lighting to brighten up the space and found ways to implement space saving features/fixtures for a more efficient use of square footage - the pocket door was a hit. I initially wanted a barn door- I'm so glad Tony convinced me to go with the pocket door. Tony Heard and his team (Omar, Jose, Douglas and Uncle Merc) are true professionals. I especially appreciated the respect and care they took in planning for the project (pre-construction walkthrough, prepping the worksite, daily clean-up, printed schedules, constant communication- and yes he answers email and phone calls) Not only did we (my husband) enjoy having them in our home, our fur-baby terrier enjoyed the daily belly rubs. You won't be disappointed, we have several other projects waiting for Tony and his team."

"We chose VKB mainly on its reviews on this website. Overall the experience was very positive. We were pleased to learn that VBK did not charge a fee upfront to design the kitchen. Calvin (kitchen designer) made excellent suggestions to improve our original vision and was responsive to changes to the design. Calvin convinced us to choose wood floor and crown molding, and the type of range hood, and he was right on all counts! Because of the smooth design process with Calvin and reasonable price, we decided to sign on with VBK over other companies. The implementation phase had some bumps: the design drawings that Jason (project manager) and Ismar (crew leader) started with were not the updated version, but thankfully that was quickly rectified. In addition there were some misunderstanding on the scope of the painting area, but Calvin agreed to honor what we had discussed verbally, even though it was not spelled out in the contract. Jason listened and patiently explained the project process, and kept asking to make sure that we were happy with the progress. For example, he agreed to redo the placement of the undercabinet lights. He also accommodated our desire to donate our old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity, and Ismar and his crew carefully took the down the cabinets and stored them in our garage for pickup later in the week. Ismar, Luis, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job installing and painting everything, and their experience showed in disguising the fact that our walls were not straight and the floor was not even. We were also impressed with the laser tools that they used to guide cabinet and light placements. The crew was careful, meticulous, and respectful, and they cleaned up throughly every day. There were other crews handling the flooring and countertops, who also did top notch work, and all were coordinated like clockwork by Jason. Along the way, we learned some lessons and offer the following advice: if you are particular about the placement of your celling lights, electrical outlets and switches, let the crew know, and they will do their best to accommodate. Also, pay attention to every single detail in the contract; if not specified, there can be a misunderstanding, and a deviation may require a change order and extra expense. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the excellent quality of the work, and even though there was a delay in the backsplash order, the job finished as projected. We definitely recommend VKB, and we love our new kitchen. Jason -- we are happy!"

"Dave, the man who did the work, was very knowledgeable regarding what needed to be done to correct the shower water leak problem. He removed some of the shower wall tiles and found water had damaged a small section of the water resistant drywall to which those ceramic tiles were attached. He replaced that damaged section with cement board and then attached new ceramic tiles. I had decided to also replace the shower door and Dave did that work. Dave also replaced a separate section of regular drywall adjacent to the shower door that was damaged. Dave also quickly replaced a damaged GFCI outlet. Dave has a pleasant personality. He always kept me well informed about what he was doing. He did a good job cleaning the work site after he finished."
