"The drywall work patching was done for the dining wall ceiling which was damaged by leaky pipe of the 2nd floor bathroom. The handyman showed up on time and patched the ceiling to satisfaction. The bill amount was exactly as quoted. I used the service again for a new sump pump installation. I found communication with Tracy was easy and dependable. She was on top of everything. I discussed the ways the job could be done and the schedule that worked for me. She helped me find the best method for my need and sent out the crew at the agreed time. My questions were answered promptly. She has good understanding of her crew’s capabilities and asked for their performances afterwards for future reference. "From start to finish, William Rorer was incredibly professional, punctual, and responsive to my needs. He returned my initial phone call the same day and set a time to come to my home for an estimate the very next day. "This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."

The quality of their work (e.g., tiling, painting, etc.) is great, and Manny is super responsive. He is also very flexible working with us and our needs. "I would have to say this is one of the better experiences I have had using folks from Angie’s List. I purchased the 8 hour coupon (I had two guys for 4 hours) They did a good job with replacing the rotten wood on the exterior of the house. Also had them doing yard work, installing gate hardware on my wood fence, installing door sweeps on several doors and leveling my storm door. I would like to hire them again in the summer for more wood rot."

"MW was one of 3 firms I contacted about remodeling our half bath in the MBR to add a shower. Of those firms MW was by far the most responsive and enthusiastic: people arrived when they said they would and sent materials when promised. As we talked about options, the project grew--but at our request; MW never tried to push us. The project started at $33,000 and grew to almost $45,000, but that's because we decided to convert the linen closet to a laundry closet with a stacking washer/dryer. Drew was our main contact, and despite the change orders never lost his cool. 
The designer, Erin, has been a critical part of the process; she looked at our furniture, asked a lot of questions, and then guided us in selecting tile, flooring and paint colors. 
The project is almost done, so we haven't moved into the new spaces yet, but we are delighted with the layout and feel and can't wait to live there. In fact, we've already decided to use MW again when we remodel our kitchen next year.
