Moving is one of those experiences where the company you choose can really make or break your sanity. Nation Capital Moving is extremely responsive, had the best rates out of what I scoped around the area, and very flexible throughout the entire process. I had the lucky opportunity to move during the pandemic and was grateful to hear that they allow one rescheduling for free before charging any fees. The day of, the movers showed up early. So early in fact that we weren't ready for them yet, and they were happy to wait until we were ready and didn't start the time until we signed the initial paperwork. The three guys were quick and also courteous, and made things super hassle-free for us. I highly recommend this company for any moves and I would absolutely do business with them again in the future. And sorry for the late review my bad.

Team was amazing, was able to schedule for next day work, showed up at beginning of delivery window, grabbed heavy delivery right out of the truck and brought it up 4 flights of stairs in under 10 minutes.

We absolutely love this moving company . They moved us quickly and professionally. They took pride in making sure all our fragile stuff was wrapped an protected. The second time we moved was from a three story townhouse to a two bedroom an again they were quick professional as well they made sure to ask where we wanted stuff when it was being unloaded. Which made it so much easier when it came to putting stuff up . If we ever move again we will continue to use them.

Only had a short 2 bedroom move. I've been through many moves in my life for myself and my children (this was my son's third move in Texas). Peter and his crew of two were one of the most efficient moving teams that I have ever hired. They knew exactly where to start, no one needed to told what to do next and we were packed and moving to the new location in under 3 hours. Unloading went even faster (under 2 hrs). I priced a few local movers that had very good reviews (still not as good as them), and they beat all the other estimates. The guys were on time and extremely polite. I would ask for them specifically if ever moving again.

Kris and Rony did our move today and we could not be happier with the job they did. They moved our things from a third floor apartment to our home combing the new furniture with what was already at our house. They rearranged furniture in our home, moved in the new pieces and set up a bed for us. They made sure everything in each room was as we wanted before they left and the care they took on moving our things was perfect. They both were very nice and hard workers. The job was done as quickly as possible and we can't be happier. We will use them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. They ensured the scheduling process was completed and accurate and maintained impeccable communication throughout the entire process. They arrived promptly and began working immediately. Verified every item to be moved and safe guarded all of my furniture. I thoroughly enjoyed this usually super stressful time.

They showed up and did a stellar job. They arrived on time, went right to work, were respectful and did an all around tremendous job. 3 Terrific dudes. When they were finished I felt like I got what I paid for and that is very rare. They actually loaded the uPack trailer in less time than it took the 3 guys at the destination to unload. Everyone knows that loading takes longer than unloading. Movers were meticulous about packing and worked well together. They were the dream team. Thank you Peter, for doing what you said you would. I found them from a recommendation online. I read about their mission, and quickly reached out for a quote. Their pricing came back in line with other quotes I had received, so I went ahead and scheduled with them. They get a 10/10 for communication - I received a number of emails and phone calls leading up to the move. Their crew showed up a little bit early, and quickly got to work. I'd see them jogging back and forth from their truck back into the house. They made quick work of a 3br house, and put in the same energy during the unloading side of the move. I highly, highly recommend them, and want to especially thank movers for their hard work and passion in making what is usually a stressful experience, slightly less stressful!

This is our second time using this company and I highly recommend them. They showed up on time, early in fact, and got the job done in no time. We moved from a three story spiral walk up, and it did not bother the guys at all. Nothing was damaged, and they took great care wrapping the pieces we were putting in storage. Very friendly and efficient.

Had such an amazing experience with Peter and team. They were punctual, respectful, and knowledgeable about how to fit the different furniture pieces into the truck then later into the storage unit. I honestly am so happy to have chosen this team out of the many moving companies I was considering. They were so very careful with my belongings that you would have thought it was theirs. Again, overall great experience. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them when we move the stuff out of storage and into our new home.

These guys were amazing! They communicated with me about everything. Moving from a house to an apartment was a breeze with their help! They wrapped things and even put the items in the rooms as they unloaded! I couldn?t have asked for more sweeter and helpful movers. If I could rate 6 stars, I would. They responded quickly to my inquiry that I made at 4am, and was able to help me get my couch out of my old apartment via the staircase. They made it to my new apartment and were able to get everything up to my apartment, and were extremely communicative and kind. I was in a bind trying to figure out how to move my sectional by the end of the day, and Nation Capital Moving eased my anxieties.

I hired the team for 2 projects. Putting together 3 wardrobe cabinets and wall mounting 3 TVs. The lead responded very quickly to my request with a competitive quote. I even got a same day appointment! Unfortunately, my movers showed up late and my stuff wasn't ready by the appointment time. He was very flexible, we set a tentative time later and then ended up scheduling for the next day. The cabinets were a little tricky, but the 2 man team got everything done in a reasonable amount of time.

Nation Capital Moving have been the best movers I've ever had. They were amazing with my move. Peter was very helpful with reassuring me that everything would fit. On top of the bedroom and living room stuff, I have a very large sofa, an 8ft tree, and a giant plant they handled everything with such care. My plants arrived perfectly. They moved my items out of my apartment for me and they packed my storage unit as well. They also made sure I didn't forget anything. I would recommend them to everyone and use them again. They're such nice people and did an amazing job. Also the value was amazing, I searched for a while I don't think anyone else would put this much care into my move.

Hired Nation Capital Moving to move my son and his family into their first home. First of all, the cost of the move was very fair. The movers showed up on time, they got right to work and were very professional. They were friendly and courteous. They packed and wrapped all of the furniture well, no scratches or damages. I had to make them take a lunch break (I bought pizza for everyone) otherwise they would have just kept working. The move took over 8 hours in total. Additionally, the office scheduler could not have been more helpful. She explained the whole process and sent me quote within minutes of our phone call. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a very bad experience with a company I had contacted before Nation Capital Moving, who gave me different answers every time I call with a new question. I highly recommend Nation Capital Moving.

Awesome Moving Service. They were so loving and Caring. I was major stressed about my move. They gave me peace about the process. They were very respectful to me and my Family. They treated me like I was a Queen they would not let me pick up or touch anything. A Smooth Process. I have dealt with many moving companies but nothing like this Company. I pray Gods Blessing over them. I met them on this App. I did not know what I was getting into but God knew he ordained me to chose them to move me. So Grateful.

The scheduling/estimate process was quick, easy, and simple. Throughout the entire moving process, they were always very responsive, fair and, extremely professional. Movers were extremely friendly and went above and beyond; making this hands down the BEST moving experience (and that's coming from someone whos loved 16x in the past 12 years!). Wow! What a crew! We worked with different crews from this company each time new pods were delivered to unload. The estimate was spot-on, they worked quickly and professionally - being super careful with our belongings and home. They were fun to spend that much time with, too! The experience with the gentlemen movers was amazing! They are professional, punctual, friendly, and hard-working, offering suggestions and tips to make our move less stressful. If I could give 10 stars I would! Not only did they squeeze me in same day, they were super fast in responding and the value was completely worth it! The workers are also so personable!

The guys were great. Quick and professional. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. Even after a snow storm they came ready to work. I moved from West Virginia to Maryland. Even with a few hiccups with the freight elevator and loading dock dustance, it was a team effort to get it done quickly. And the price was perfect! My only issue was we didn't have a plan to protect the floors. The floors were left muddy. I would recommend shoe covers or to lay down some form of protection over the floors during inclement weather. Outside of that, I would recommend them to anyone.
