"Great - Troy and Hunter were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves which was a big deal. This was not an easy install. The Water Softener that was installed was top quality. We have to work through a service contract for the upkeep and maintenance which was surprisingly very expensive. Like I said though - this was not your average Water Softener System and the original plumber had no clue about Water Softeners when the house was built. Wisler is unique in our area as they cover both HVAC and Plumbing. Previously we were working with 3 different companies to handle our HVAC and Plumbing needs. Reducing it to one does have value. Softener + New Filter to Front End Sediment + Services to Install was $7700. Maintenance contract I am told is $500 which was a bit of a shock but we are working through that."

"Everyone I dealt with from the receptionist to the sales manager and installers were professional, friendly, & helpful. Our water softening system was installed within days of our purchase and has worked beautifully. We had some other work done in the area where the water softening system is and when they had to temporarily move the brine tank, they twisted the float, causing it to malfunction. "Arrived when promised.  Same installation team that replaced my water softener, so they were familiar with my configuration and I was familiar with their work.  They removed the old water filter and installed a new one.  This required some new water lines.  They installed a shut-off valve on the supply side of the filter, recognizing that I had no such shut-off valve and could only shut off the water by shutting off the electricity to the pump at the circuit breaker.  This was a very thoughtful and much appreciated action on their part.  It is evident that they take pride in their work, which instills confidence.

"We have very hard water in our area.  The calcification from deposits could be so thick, we needed to scrub out our fixtures at least a couple of times a year to unclog them.  I thought it may be time to look into a water softener before we had internal damage to a major appliance and come home one day to two feet of water in our house.
DJ Ostrom and his team came out to the house and tested the water.  They recommended a softener based on our water needs.  They returned at a later date convenient to my schedule and ran new piping, installed the softener, and made sure I knew how it worked, when to refill the salt, etc..  It is not a very complicated piece of machinery, but I like to know how things work.
No more scrubbing!  The water softener is working perfectly.  We have not had any further build-up and the calcification that was there seems to have dissolved away.  I would highly recommend that if you have hard or heavy mineral water, that you consider a softener for your home.  The crew at Ostrom, in my opinion, did a great job at a fair price.  Highly recommended.
