Ted from Johnson’s worked with me to have my piano moved into their climate-controlled storage for a week during the installation. My house has a side entrance which made the move pretty challenging, but the excellent crews who moved the piano out and back in were very creative in accommodating the challenge with the front door and they took great care not to damage my railings on the stoop. This was an interstate move (DC to PA) in less-than-ideal conditions (we had to move an adult family member out of the apartment). The crew, Roberto and Harry, were empathetic, caring, and incredibly efficient with packing, loading, and unloading the one-bedroom apartment. I spent the day worrying (needlessly) that the storage unit I had rented was too small. The crew fit all of the items neatly and safely into a 5x10' unit with room to spare. "Campbell moving was by far one of the best moving companies we’ve ever had and I’ve moved a lot so I know moving companies. From setting up the move to the moving crew, it was an excellent experience. The movers were respectful, kind and such hard workers! Mike came out to the house to look things over and talk through the details of my move requirements; most of the bids were all virtual, this personal touch did make a difference. The price he quoted ended up being right in the middle of the other bids and I went with them. Moving day was scheduled on a day that was calling for TERRIBLE weather and Mike was able to accommodate my request to move the date up by a day which was perfect. The movers were super punctual, super professional and so helpful as some of the "where to put things" decisions were not all worked out. They were patient and also so pleasant to work with.
