This was an interstate move (DC to PA) in less-than-ideal conditions (we had to move an adult family member out of the apartment). The crew, Roberto and Harry, were empathetic, caring, and incredibly efficient with packing, loading, and unloading the one-bedroom apartment. I spent the day worrying (needlessly) that the storage unit I had rented was too small. The crew fit all of the items neatly and safely into a 5x10' unit with room to spare. "I contacted American Moving based on the reviews here on Angies List; they were one of three companies I contacted. Mike came out to the house to look things over and talk through the details of my move requirements; most of the bids were all virtual, this personal touch did make a difference. The price he quoted ended up being right in the middle of the other bids and I went with them. Moving day was scheduled on a day that was calling for TERRIBLE weather and Mike was able to accommodate my request to move the date up by a day which was perfect. The movers were super punctual, super professional and so helpful as some of the "where to put things" decisions were not all worked out. They were patient and also so pleasant to work with. "This was our second time using Randall Moving & storage and they are great! The crew arrived early and they were efficient, courteous, and attentive. Two of the guys were even part of the same crew who moved us 5 years ago and remembered our home. They carefully wrapped all our furniture pieces with blankets even used plastic wrap to ensure a delicate antique armoire was not damaged during the move.
