"Jim the Handyman was able to get someone out to provide an estimate which was extremely reasonable and then they scheduled someone to come out the next day. The work was done magnificently and we were able to get our painting project done that weekend. So thankful for this team!"

"I’m so happy with the work Solomon and his team did! They were incredibly professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. I’m definitely planning to bring them back this summer to finish my basement project, which I’ve been putting off for years."

"A+++++ I donâ t know where I should begin?! The transformation of our laundry room is unbelievable. Literally, pictures of our laundry room now belong in an interior decorating magazine! Our house was built in the 1970s, so our laundry room was full of exposed pipes and an ugly 1970s green color was painted on the cement cinderblocks. It was literally the worst room in our house and Iâ ve hated it for the 18 years Iâ ve lived in this house. Finally, I pulled the trigger and hired Winiâ s Construction and they exceeded my expectations. They redid all of the plumbing, moved my washer and dryer from the left of the room when I first walked in to straightahead so now I can actually fold laundry in the laundry room, dry walled the walls and ceiling and put in recessed lighting. They then painted the room and put in new flooring that looks incredible. To top it off, they added three shelves above the washer and dryer and a drop-down folding table that has been a game changer! I wish I could add pictures here because it would blow your mind. The custom-made door has a glass window at the top with white tinted glass and an amazing sticker on the front that says laundry room help needed, 5 cents an hour. This company is meticulous. They laid down plastic from the front door, down my stairs, all the way into the laundry room. They never set foot on my flooring. They treated my house as if it was their grandparents home. Quite frankly, donâ t tell Alberto, the CEO of Winiâ s Construction, but they wayyyyyy under bid this job!!!"

"This vendor was able to respond to my need on the same day as my request. The technician made helpful suggestions about how to best meet my needs and performed the work to our full satisfaction. The tasks involved reinstalling a towel rack in the hall bath which had pulled away from the wall and installing new curtain rods and hanging new curtains over the main bedroom window."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

You can use a plunge pool any time of the year, including winter. Be sure to install a pool heater if you plan to take a dip in the plunge pool when temperatures are low to avoid risk of hypothermia. You will also want to add a sturdy pool cover to protect the pool from snow, sleet, and rain during the winter months.

Generally speaking, you should expect to wait 24 to 48 hours after filling a pool before you use it. However, the actual timeline depends on a few factors. Most importantly, you need to shock the water with chlorine or an alternative to swimming pool chlorine and let the concentration come down to a safe level before using the pool. Additionally, most water sources will be cold, and it can take days before the sun or your pool heater warms your water to a comfortable temperature. Alternatively, getting water professionally delivered could have you swimming in just a few hours.

You should wait at least six hours after adding baking soda before swimming in your pool. Even better, wait at least 24 hours to ensure it’s fully mixed in and dissolved. While it’s likely not harmful, if you get in the pool too early, the baking soda may irritate your skin or eyes if you’re sensitive to it.

While you can save some money by digging your own pool, you may end up paying more in construction equipment rental fees in the long run. You could, however, focus your DIY energies on lowering the cost of leveling your lawn for your pool or filling in surrounding landscaping after construction.

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.
