"The handyman removed the pergola efficiently, cleaned up any debris, and hauled away the scrap, as agreed. He was polite, answered my questions, and did a thorough and careful removal."

"I would give CIC 6 stars if the system allowed. Christian and his associate were able to assemble the bed, TV console, lift-top coffee table, and so much more. They did the work quickly and everything worked perfectly. We were so happy that when we purchased more furniture that needed assembling the next day, we called him and he was able to fit us right in. Fair prices and great customer service. I highly recommend them."

"We couldn’t have been happier with Joe’s work and professionalism! He was very communicative and prompt with every response. He hung four shelves for us and that will not be the last task. We will absolutely be calling Joe again with our next project(s)."

"I live in a split level house with a couple floors. My master bedroom was incredibly ordinary and had three tiny windows (two facing the backyard and one on the side yard). My bed always looked weird in the middle of my room and I didnâ t see any of my beautiful backyard which faces a forest of gorgeous trees and had a pool and is well landscaped. After reading the text endless FIVE STAR reviews for Winiâ s Construction, I hired this family run business of the BEAT trades-men and women and man I made the right decision!!! They literally removed the entire wall facing my backyard. They installed French doors and put in large open up windows on either side of the doors and my room looks like a gorgeous hotel room. Albertoâ s team removed the tiny windows behind my bed and they built a stunning wall of cedar planks that frames my king-size bed. They installed a custom shiplap fireplace and electrical fireplace with a tv on top. Then they installed new wooden floors and painted the room. Ohhhh and how can I forget the Romeo and Juliet balcony (32â deep and 12â wide) off my bedroom and the custom black metal railing. Itâ s a game-changer to not only my bedroom but to the entire house. From the backyard it makes my house look so modern and classy! Their work and suggestions are first-class and they are meticulous, friendly, on time, hard-working, creative and the BEST contractors Iâ ve hired in my 18-years of remodeling and updating my home. Thank you Alberto and your family! Watching you transform my home was mesmerizing! I feel like a queen in my new magazine-worthy bedroom! I will 100% be hiring you again! Up next, building a giant pergola in my backyard!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, you will need to shock your pool with high levels of chlorine or bromine when you first fill it to kill off bacteria and pathogens. You’ll need to wait for the chlorine concentration to come back down to a safe level before swimming. After that, you can test and maintain the chlorine and other levels as normal. The only exception to this is if you get pool water delivered by a professional. In that case, the water might come pretreated, so you might not need to shock it.

Yes. A pool pH too high may result in a rash, red, or stinging eyes for swimmers. It means chlorine isn't as abundant as it needs to be to neutralize germs. A pH that is too low means the water is too acidic, which can cause similar bodily irritation and damage to your pool's lining and the surrounding plaster, stone, or tile.

Round and freeform pools are popular choices for a small backyard, although a small yard may be able to accommodate a variety of shapes. When planning a pool for your small yard, remember to take into account pool deck space, fencing requirements, and other pool-related factors that may limit your choices.

Hire a licensed pool contractor in your area with ample experience in your particular pool design. Pool contractors will walk you through both the design and installation process. They will also recommend or hire a team of subcontractors to manage clearing the land, excavating for the pool, and adding all the design and electrical touches that make your pool run smoothly.

Pool remodel costs average over $9,000, so what about converting your pool to salt water instead? It is certainly an investment on the front end, but homeowners stand to save money on maintenance by switching to a saltwater pool. You will need to replace the salt cell every five years or so, but you will not have to clean your pool as frequently, either. The smell of chlorine also will not be on your swimsuits or skin, which is a benefit many appreciate.
