I asked to have the old pool cover removed. That meant removed from the premises. For $600 I expected this. I was told after it was removed that my contract did not include disposing of the old cover. Never saw a contract Would not have hired this company if I knew this. Instead, they rolled it to the curb. My trash removal did not have a service to pick it up. I had to cut it up, which was very tedious, and dirty and I was too old to be burdened with this. Why I hired them to do this job in full, but they failed me.

Amazing gentlemen! They cleaned a very dirty, somewhat neglected pool (had to let prior pool guy go for a number of reasons) so pool sat for three weeks without filter and VIP spent hours here cleaning it until it was crystal clean. Hoping to get them here soon for my opening.

I had a very bad experience with VIP pools with my opening AND closing last season. I called to schedule a date to open in early May and spoke to Paul, the owner. They no-showed on the day they were supposed to come out after I confirmed with them that morning. I left another voicemail at 5 pm. No return phone call, no communication after I stayed home all day waiting for them. I emailed him and expressed how disappointed I was with their lack of customer service and said I was going to look elsewhere for my pool opening. He apologized and asked for another chance to prove that the incident was not indicative of his company's quality. So I did. He came the second time and was able to complete the opening. I also asked him about a different spa cover because my current one doesn't cover the surface entirely and lets leaves fall in. He took pictures and said he would look into other cover options and get back to me. He then told me to leave the filter running continuously until the water is completely clear which I did and kept it on for about a week. However, after I started setting the filter on a timer each day, I noticed that my spa would drain empty after the filter turned off each evening and would refill after it would come back on in the morning. I emailed Paul asking about this which concerned me because I didn't know if it was a malfunction of the equipment or what and that letting the surface dry out could cause damage. I never got a response. I had to troubleshoot/google the problem online and figured out the answer for myself. It was due to a switch on the equipment that was left in a certain position. There was no mention to me about this and what to expect. As a side note, Paul also said he balanced the pool at the opening which when I started testing on my own a couple days after opening, found that the pH was way high off the charts. By this time, I had already paid for both the opening and closing as a package was starting to regret that decision. When it was time to schedule the closing, I again called and spoke to Paul to set a date. AGAIN, they were a no show. I was fed up this time and sent him a text and reminded him that it happened at opening as well. He called back, again apologizing. I was having none of it this time. He asked me to name a date and time and he would be there. I said first job of the morning the next day. He agreed. But guess what? NO SHOW AGAIN! I called later that morning, left a message that I wanted my money back for closing. Only after that did someone show up. Excuses were flying, with the team that showed up saying that they were just called and told to come and then Paul saying later that he didn't know why they were late because the company just had a meeting that morning and they were supposed to come right after. At this point, I just wanted to get the job done and be done with them. I also asked about the spa cover options and he had no response, saying the compa

We hired VIP to close the pool which was unbalanced and to change the sand in the filter. They advised us our plugs were the wrong size and our filter lower valve was defective so they replaced the plugs and repaired the valve. Not only was their quote for the original work the most reasonable but the charge for the additional work was miniscule. The workers were professional and even included a plumber who came to cut the pipes to the filter so the sand could be changed! We are definitely using them to open the pool next year!

These guys are extremely professional. They were very honest. They let me know nothing was actually wrong with the pool and how to use the equipment properly. Very ethical and I appreciate them very much. Don't walk but RUN to these guys. These guys have earned my trust and could have ripped me off and they didn't it. They did the right thing by the customer.

I want to start by saying they did a good job cleaning our pool, but the customer service was not good at all. when I first spoke with the General Manager on Wednesday he said they could come out and clean our pool that Friday. I took off of work in order to be at home when they came, they did not show up nor give me a call or email. They came on Monday and I told them not to worry about doing anything to the pool, the pool guy told his manager and he called me, he told me that they were going to shock the pool and then come back on Thursday to vacuum and it would all be free because of the inconvenience. I told them that it would be fine but I was very unhappy about the whole situation and he said he just wanted to make his customers happy and wanted me to be happy. Come Thursday, again I stayed home to wait for them and they did not show up, call, or email. they then came on Friday and without my permission put chemicals in the pool when they were just supposed to vacuum, and left a bill for $90. My husband told them that we were told it was free and the guy said his boss would call. When I spoke with the manger again I expressed how upset I was and that I was told the service was free. He told me that they spent a hour and 15 minutes at my house and used $70 worth of chemicals and that I would have to pay for that. I again told him that he said on Monday the service was free and that they again didn't even show up when they were supposed to. He then got very angry at me and told me that if I didn't pay he would not be able to take his child to the Zoo tomorrow. I said that it was not my fault he told me the service was free and his employees weren't doing their jobs. All in all I'm very disappointed in this service. If they would have come when they were scheduled and have been upfront and honest with me about how much it will cost then I would have hired them for the summer.

"First we want to Thank Jessica DeMerritt for taking her time to review our service. She rate our company with 3 stars for our quality of the work. 0.5 for customer service and 0.5 for value for the money. Well, as she said we did a good job cleaning her pool that was actually totally green, pool was in condition, recommended for drain and ACID wash, a $600-800 worth of service, but we was trying to save her this money with a special treatment of the water. Our technician backwash the pool filter, clean the skimmer basket, load with tabs, clean the hair and lint strainer, inspect the equipment, skim the surface, treat the pool with 24 pounds of shock, algae removal chemical, PH balance treatment, drop and vac, chemicals in total cost of $68 (wholesale price) this was a full visitation, the only procedure that was not perform was vacuum due to the condition of the water. So we had her schedule for second visit (in order to get this water back to crystal clear we had to perform at least one more visit) It was the busiest time of the season and some times we running on very difficult pools, that cause to have our teams delay a bit. And this is what happened with Jessica, we couldn't make it on Friday and we try to call her at the phone provided, turns out this was her work number, receptionist answer the phone but she couldn't get Jessica on the phone. We do respect our customers and understand that time is valuable to all of us, that is the reason We offer her ONE free initial visit (110 value) after we schedule second visit on Thursday, We had to reschedule due to a thunderstorm that day-we do work on rainy days, but we don't send our crews to work on Thunderstorm days because we believe is dangerous for our team members, We try to call her again at her work, again left a message for her, We send our field manager to get to her pool, he did a double visit (double visit is when pool is in really bad condition and needs double the time to get it clean) this is procedure including: blow the deck from debris, skim the surface of the pool, clean the skimmer baskets, backwash the filter several times during the vacuum and once at the end. Vacuum the pool for 1 hour and 15 min, brush the walls, test the water and treat the pool with proper chemicals. this is a $180 visit, but again we was willing to give her 50% off of the second visit to make her happy, so overall for all the work done (getting her pool crystal clear from dark green/black, with tons of debris at the bottom) we was able to safe her a lot of money for draining the pool and ACID wash it, our team member perform inspection of the pool equipment with all the repairs needs to be done, and report from the water condition analyst, plus report for the job perform, chemical used and invoice for one free visit and one double visit with all chemicals included for only $90.00 Her husband refuse to accept the papers and advised our team member to call his wife. Very prompt service, quality customer care, quality of work superb. I had had a previous quote for over $25,000 but the actual work done was less than $1000. Demitre called back to make sure things were going well as a follow up. The pool is working the best it has in years! I would highly recommend VIP for all pool needs. It is rare to find good quality workmanship as well as good customer care today. VIP has both.

VIP pools was really responsive to my phone calls. The only drawback was that they would show up when they felt like it rather than the scheduled time. They thought they were doing us a favor by showing up a day early, and rather than calling to let us know, they would just walk in the back yard unannounced, which was really frustrating!
