"Pros: They did a great job thoroughly cleaning out my ductwork. The person that came was polite and professional. Cons: Not on time after stressing the importance due to another company coming the same day. I had to call the morning of to verify someone was still coming. Being on time is very important to me, if not for that, I would have given 5 stars."

Small jobs welcome

"Victor did an excellent job cleaning my dryer vents. He also cleaned behind the dryer itself which is very important! A lot of lint had accumulated over the last couple of years and he cleaned it till the inside of the vent piping looked silver and new. He cleaned it from the back of the dryer, the front of the dryer, all the way out to the exterior opening for the vent. He was on time, and he was efficient in completing the job. I would definitely use him again and I feel comfortable referring him to others."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes. Baking soda and vinegar—when diluted with water—are safe to use to clean sticky laminate floors.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

Yes, utilizing green solutions that are safe for both homes and the environment.

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.

You’ve tackled the pee stain on the carpet, but that smell still lingers in the air. Yuck! Fortunately, you can use certain sprays to help remove the odor. A homemade baking soda spray, made with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle, can help remove the smell of pee. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner directly on the pee stain to deodorize it.
