Even though we didnt have a full energy audit, they still go over your entire home and tell you what should and what needs to be done. Some of the little things we did ourselves, or had our handyman. Then Comfenergy did the big part, seal and insulate the attic. We still had late 80's insulation and never a sealing done. It ended up being over an 8 hour project. They were not the cheapest estimate, but definitely the most in-depth review and recommendations provided. The two man team that did the actual work were very professional, showed us the work as the progressed, and good clean up job after all was done."

"I think they did it all in one day. When we decided to go with them. We have one room that doesn't have a second story with recess lights. That room is fairly new, we put it in 6 years ago. He showed me pictures of stucco in there. All those lights were coming in through those recess lights, they were not properly caulked or insulated, so we were losing a lot of beautiful energy through those recess lights. He corrected that. He correct where some of the baffles were covered. He brought it up to high lighting. There was a giant antenna laying across the top of the attic in the main house doing absolutely nothing. They broke it up and removed it. I felt like they were my eyes and ears going up there, something I couldn't do and showed me things that were done incorrectly.  The original insulation was a bluff. It had been displaced. I actually had ceiling drywall in between the structure. They corrected it all. Even the ceiling access was properly insulated and closed. They are just very thorough. They helped us when they troubleshooted from the old company. The price seemed perfectly fair, they didn't try to sell you a cheap product with a cheap price. It seemed like a fair price in line with quality. That's all we really want."

"We had a horrendous situation with a basement floor installation that went wrong leaving our house full of fumes, and a week later we discovered our basement was contaminated by asbestos in the process.  When we called Bill and Contractors Unlimited, they were extremely responsive.  Although other companies gave us bids, Bill was able to work his schedule to fit us in weeks sooner than the others.  Although the cost was a bit more, that saved us money because we were displaced and could not even go into our house because of the fumes.  CU set up negative air machines to replace the air, they followed asbestos abatement laws, they cleaned every item that could be salvaged in our house.  They even saved more than we thought which really reduced our overall expense.  Bill and his team were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way to ease our stress from this situation.  At the end of their process, Bill arranged for a air quality inspection which we happily passed - able to return home.  I would gladly recommend Contractors Unlimited for asbestos abatement.  I just wish we had called them before the floor guys  created such a disaster.  Thank you Bill!
