Bill Hawk is easy to communicate with.  I left a lock-box on the back door, they came out, and did the work while I was at work.  They coordinated with Geller Labs to have them come out and perform a final air test for me.  They did a great job cleaning up.

It passed the inspector's test and was done quicker than expected.

We had a horrendous situation with a basement floor installation that went wrong leaving our house full of fumes, and a week later we discovered our basement was contaminated by asbestos in the process.  When we called Bill and Contractors Unlimited, they were extremely responsive.  Although other companies gave us bids, Bill was able to work his schedule to fit us in weeks sooner than the others.  Although the cost was a bit more, that saved us money because we were displaced and could not even go into our house because of the fumes.  CU set up negative air machines to replace the air, they followed asbestos abatement laws, they cleaned every item that could be salvaged in our house.  They even saved more than we thought which really reduced our overall expense.  Bill and his team were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way to ease our stress from this situation.  At the end of their process, Bill arranged for a air quality inspection which we happily passed - able to return home.  I would gladly recommend Contractors Unlimited for asbestos abatement.  I just wish we had called them before the floor guys  created such a disaster.  Thank you Bill!

Great experience, came at a certain time so my husband could meet them. Said what they needed to do, we said we would like it done in a more timely manner and they did. Charged us 2 & 1/2 days.

Unfortunately we found asbestos containing floor tiles under a laminent floor in our house.  We made the decision to have the material abated and conduct a kitchen remodel (new cabinents) at the same time.  There are not many options in the area when it comes to asbestos abatement contractors and even fewer who will provide both abatement and renovation services.  We quickly decided to go with Contractors Unlimited because they offered both services and Bill was responsive, knowledgable and very personable - and we were not disapointed.  Bill and his crew performed an excellent job, ontime, close to the originial estimate price (we expanded the scope slightly), and at a more than reasonable cost.  Bill and his crew kept us in the loop as the demolition/abatement progressed, calling us throughout the day.  After the work was competed he kept in touch as we worked to schedule our replacement kitchen and worked with us to accomodate our tight deadlines.  As the new cabinets were installed, Bill and Dwayne oversaw the installation, insured that the floors weren't damaged and paid attention to the little details with respect to craftsmanship.
We would highly recommend Contractors Unlimited and will definitely consider them in the future for any renovation needs!

John came to give us an estimate and we were a little shocked by the price. This is by no means a cheap service because of the regulations they have to follow. He called us later and lowered his price to keep his crew working and we were very happy for someone that really wanted our business. They were very prompt on the day of the removal. They did everything we asked and left the house in better shape than when they arrived. They even removed some old carpet that was in the way. We were very satisfied with the job they did. The one thing that we were surprised by was the fact they did not take credit cards. We had not budgeted for a cash payment. I hope in the future they are more up front with customers about this. We would use them again.
