"Electricians arrived EXACTLY on time at 8:00 a.m.  They introduced themselves, inspected the work to be done, provided a written estimate (which I accepted) and jumped right into it.  The workmen were neat and clean in appearance and wore Handyman Connection tee-shirts.  Both men were professional and knowledgeable.  They had little need for installation instructions and appeared to have done similar work many times.  I miscounted the number of smoke detectors I needed (5 needed but only four on-hand).  The men were willing to wait while I ran to the store to get another smoke detector (I was unable to find the model I wanted.)  I returned to the house just as they finished their inspection of the basement.  They provided a written list of electrical code violations but explained that none were urgent, dangerous or a fire hazard.  The work they did in 1-1/2 hours would have taken me half a day at least.  I don't have the knowledge or experience to have done the basement inspection.  These guys will be the ONLY electricians I'll ever have in my house in the  future."
