These guys were the benchmark for contracting work. Quick estimates on pricing that they stuck to. Timely quality work, and a great clean-up effort. 10/10 would recommend for insulation work.

I would get everything in writing. At each phase of start and completion, I would have someone on the team confirm what is being done. I paid over six thousand for two 6 to 7 hours daily work. This company did not seem to appreciate an informed consumer. The workers and sales were courteous and hard-working, following orders from management. The supervisor and Management were not customer friendly when questioned about certain parts of the job. Next time I will pick someone from the BBB list. Just my opinion.

Very reasonable price, quick work, protected and cleaned up any area of the home they were in. So far I have seen a very noticeable difference in the amount of time the hvac unit runs everyday compared to similar previous days.

Professional, courteous, and friendly

After researching and obtaining quotes from a number of companies, I selected The Fifth Fuel to air seal and insulate my attic (blown-in cellulose), cantilevers, and rim-joist. From the initial consultation with Adam to email follow-up, the project and my options were clearly explained. When I asked about putting a higher R-value in my attic, Adam provided the price but explained why it didn't make sense for me. I appreciated that he didn't try to oversell me. The proposal laid out everything they would be doing. The cost was reasonable. It wasn't the lowest bid, but was less than 50% of some other bids. The day of installation, the crew arrived a bit early. Throughout the install they were professional, kind, and clean. They protected the inside and outside of our house and vacuumed afterward. They conducted a blower door test at the end to quantify the difference made by air sealing. Within two hours of them leaving, we've already noticed a difference in our comfort and our A/C is not even running half the time it was before.

Josh was great with the estimate and the installation crew were clean and professional. Our upper level is now noticeably cooler on hot days. Well worth it.

They were on time with both calling and showing up to the job. They were polite and neat, placing plastic coverings over all areas they came in contact with and totally cleaned up after competing the job.
