Even though we didnt have a full energy audit, they still go over your entire home and tell you what should and what needs to be done. Some of the little things we did ourselves, or had our handyman. Then Comfenergy did the big part, seal and insulate the attic. We still had late 80's insulation and never a sealing done. It ended up being over an 8 hour project. They were not the cheapest estimate, but definitely the most in-depth review and recommendations provided. The two man team that did the actual work were very professional, showed us the work as the progressed, and good clean up job after all was done."

"Louis and his partner we very professional and thorough. They initially put down drop cloths to protect our floors and nearby items. The precisely installed the insulation to match up with what was already on the walls. I had 1 area that we could not clear out completely due to some heavy shelving, and they worked around the shelving and still did a great job. They ensured the new insulation was mounted correctly and attached well with the insulation that was already on the wall. They also fixed up with tape some adjacent pieces of insulation to make it look much neater. When they were finished to thoroughly cleaned up where they had performed the work. They inspected for mold in my basement, removed duct cover where mold was found, built a new cover, applied mold preventive to the whole basement, and did an awesome clean-up, including vacuuming the whole basement. I was pleased that the job was done well and finished in a day. One worker returned two days later to sand the drywall, which had needed time to dry completely. "I think they did it all in one day. When we decided to go with them. We have one room that doesn't have a second story with recess lights. That room is fairly new, we put it in 6 years ago. He showed me pictures of stucco in there. All those lights were coming in through those recess lights, they were not properly caulked or insulated, so we were losing a lot of beautiful energy through those recess lights. He corrected that. He correct where some of the baffles were covered. He brought it up to high lighting. There was a giant antenna laying across the top of the attic in the main house doing absolutely nothing. They broke it up and removed it. I felt like they were my eyes and ears going up there, something I couldn't do and showed me things that were done incorrectly.  The original insulation was a bluff. It had been displaced. I actually had ceiling drywall in between the structure. They corrected it all. Even the ceiling access was properly insulated and closed. They are just very thorough. They helped us when they troubleshooted from the old company. The price seemed perfectly fair, they didn't try to sell you a cheap product with a cheap price. It seemed like a fair price in line with quality. That's all we really want."
