"Our decks were a problem from the start. We needed to re-surface both front decks and we wanted to use composite decking, but retain the original railing. NVD striped the railing and repainted it all, then they removed the old wood decking and replaced it with Timber Tec. While doing this, they discovered my old deck was NOT square. Danny and his crew did a EXCELLENT job replacing the decking, using a product they were unfamiliar with. While they were doing this, my wife and I wanted to add a "Dog Gate" to the project to keep our dogs on the deck. Danny came up with a custom roll out gate that was made to look like the same as the original railing. Honestly, when it's closed, you can't tell it's there. I think so much of NVD Construction, I had them roof my house the following month . I highly recommend NVD Construction."

"He did a real good job of cleaning up. He has a helper and he always works with him. He does not put him on the job and come back and check later. He did a good job and he was supposed to give me an estimate on repairing of the wall. He was honest and hardworking and that is why i went with me. I am concerned about matching colors on my roof and he paid details to that. My brother said however they had not fill up a couple of ports on the roof. He thought they over looked it other than that he did a good job."

"Gary, the owner of GK Painting, did a fantastic job repainting and staining all of the exterior trim on my home in Hermosa Beach. He was the first Angie’s List contractor to call me back and met with me later that day to take a look at the job. His proposal was fair and fast, he started the work less than a week later and completed it ahead of schedule. The environment is **** ** wood trim by the beach and Gary and his super polite workers did an excellent job prepping the wood, first power washing it and then taking the time to sand it properly. "Excellent work! At least 1/3 of my roof on the north side had a great deal of moss on it. On much of the rest of the roof there were small amounts of moss along the bottom edge of shingles, and there were patches in scattered places on the main part of the shingles. After Hector and his son cleaned the roof, it looked brand new. They removed plants and furniture from our deck before the job and replaced them after the job. They even did a light washing of the vinyl siding of the house, which was outside the agreed-upon scope of work, but they did not charge me for it. As a former member of a site safety office in a then-Fortune 50 company, I was particularly impressed with the excellent precautions they took to insure their safety on the roof during the job. Hector’s 27+ years of experience was evident in every aspect of the job. I plan to bring him back in a year for annual maintenance. We hired Marshal to tear down an existing deck and build a new deck, add a patio and fire pit.  We sat down with Marshall and described what we were looking for.  Marshall took the time to understand our vision and give us suggestions to make our new deck, patio and fire pit even better.  Marshall is very detailed oriented and makes sure that he exceeds the needs and desires for his customers.  We signed our contract and started the process.  Marshall’s team arrived on the first day early and ready to get the deck built.  His team was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire build.  At the end of every day the team made sure that all of the trash was picked up and everything was organized for the next days work (when have you ever seen a construction crew do that?).  Marshall kept us informed on the project every step of the way.  The project was completed without a hitch.  Even when we added things to be done after they had already started.  Our new deck, patio and fire pit have greatly exceeded our expectations.  We will use Marshall and his team again, (in fact we are already starting to think about the next project).  If you want a contractor that takes the time to listen to your desires for your project, has a vested interest to  make sure that you are 110% satisfied with the work than Marshall is the man to call.
