"Nasr is wonderful! His guys did a great job with the panel which was old and as it turned out, replaced just in the nick of time as there were melted parts inside that could have started a fire! The wrong surge protector was installed so Nasr came back to put in the correct one. He is very friendly, communicative and easy to work with and does high quality work. I'm very happy with my new electrical panel."

"It was very easy to work with Joe to finalize a quote and get the job scheduled. Once onsite, Carlos and his colleague knew exactly what to do and how to run the new electric circuit across the house from the electrical panel to the garage. The installed the EV charger we had purchased separately exactly how we wanted it. Everything worked perfectly. They even went the extra mile to come back and patch the garage drywall where they had made a few holes to run the cable even though it was not included in the job initially. Overall very happy with both the price we paid and the quality of the work. Will hire again for any electrical work we'll need."

"I hired Atlas Electrical Solutions to run a cable from the third floor to the second floor. Youssef was highly professional and discussed the details of the project thoroughly before confirming. He was punctual, and incredibly detail oriented throughout the project. He was also very friendly and courteous. I'd highly recommend Atlas Electrical Solutions!"

"Kevin Williams was sent to repair problems created by another electrician hired by Kitchen Saver during an expansive kitchen re-face and cabinet installation. Among other things, he re-located an unsightly transformer that had been previously secured to the inside of the first shelf of a main kitchen cabinet to a lower cabinet out of sight. Voila! Then, he re-routed unsightly wiring previously clamped to the far corner of a glass display cabinet so that it was out of sight. These were difficult puzzles to solve, as the new cabinets had already been installed and there was no longer easy access. Kevin was friendly, professional, and experienced! Great job!"

Small jobs welcome

"I hired Innovation Electric to replace four outdoor wall lighting sconces and wire and install a fifth sconce. The work was of a high quality. Innovation Electric also looked at my main electric panel (at my request) and found on circuit was not connected. They repaired this at no additional charge."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Before starting electrical work in Great Falls, walk through your home to identify which areas and systems will be affected. Make a list of all appliances and devices on the circuits you plan to update. Check for any community guidelines or neighborhood restrictions, and consider seasonal weather patterns that might impact outdoor work. Planning ahead with a detailed checklist helps you avoid unexpected issues and keeps your project on track.

Helpful?

In Great Falls, electrical systems often share circuits with well pumps, septic alarms, HVAC units, or pool equipment—especially in larger or older homes. If you notice lights flickering when major appliances start, or if your HVAC or well pump seems less reliable after electrical changes, your systems may be interconnected. Carefully map out which circuits power each system to avoid unexpected disruptions during any electrical project.

Helpful?

In Great Falls, storing boxes or tools near your electrical panel, overloading outlets with home office equipment, and skipping regular GFCI testing are common habits that can reduce system lifespan. Humid basements and dense tree cover can also lead to moisture or debris near service lines. Scheduling routine inspections and keeping areas around panels and outdoor lines clear helps protect your home’s electrical system in this unique Virginia community.

Helpful?

In Great Falls, electrical issues like panel overheating, GFCI outlets not working near sinks, or visible damage to exterior service lines should be addressed right away for safety. Projects such as installing landscape lighting or upgrading to smart switches can be scheduled within a few months. For less urgent needs, like adding extra outlets, you can plan at your convenience, but always prioritize anything that impacts safety or reliability.

Helpful?

If your Great Falls home is from the 1950s-1970s, or you notice frequent breaker trips, dimming lights, or outlets not working—especially near kitchens and bathrooms—it’s time to consider electrical upgrades. Spring and fall are optimal for scheduling, as weather is mild and contractors are more available. Plan electrical work before major renovations or when adding features like electric vehicle chargers or smart home systems.
