"I really do not know why some people have zeros with their reviews when they provide the praise they do. Dave had a major job at my residence. After the septic tank was pumped, he found major issues with the 85 year old sewer line. Tree roots had broken into the line, several sections of pipe had breaks, and of course, the pipes are under concrete! Thanks to his and his son's expertise with camera technology and state of the art equipment, I now have clear drains and sewer line and two access pipes. Because of the camera, Dave & Justin only had to dig up about 4 square feet of concrete to access the line. It took several days and a great deal of money, but it is worth every penny. I have a toilet and walk in shower that are no longer backing up, a drain in another bath that has not drained properly for several years, that drains perfectly. Previous plumbers would fix the problem, but it would re-occur. The last plumber, who has been extremely helpful, advised get a camera guy this is more than I can fix with a snake. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and a great diagnostician. He has good advice for how to prevent issues with drain and sewer lines as well, and even provided medicine, given with a glass of warm water every couple of weeks (down the drain, but NOT the toilets). I MADE SURE HE GAVE ME HIS BUSINESS CARD so I have it in the file."

"This is a review for Patrick S at A & A Plumbing in San Antonio, Texas. We had two sinks in the same bathroom that were draining slowly. This was not an emergency, so I made an appointment for two business days later. The person on the phone was polite and helpful and did a good job explaining the company policies about the service charge (about $20) that is credited towards any work done and what to expect when the plumbers came. I was given a 4 hour window and they came very near the beginning of the window. They called in advance to confirm and then again to let me know when the plumber was actually on his way and the name to expect. When Patrick got here, he gave a description of what was the likely problem and a quote to fix both sinks at once as we agreed the problem was probably past where the sink drain pipes joined up. He promised to talk over any surprises he found before doing anything extra, but his diagnosis was correct and they had both sinks draining wonderfully in less than an hour. Patrick and his colleague were pleasant and left everything as clean as when they came. They did not push selling me extra services, although they did ask if I had any other issues. I felt the price was fair for the high quality service I got. I will use this company again if we have another plumbing problem."

"I was very impressed with the first contact. The owner came to my house and he was very polite & professional. He evaluated the problem, explained everything that I wanted to know. His quote was very professionally done. It started with "scope of work to be performed". It listed all the work, parts and items to be installed. He then listed different options available for the size of unit to be replaced. The unit under each option had a SEER & EER rating, the cost for the complete job and also included was if the unit qualified for a CPS rebate & the amount. The techs were very helpful, friendly and polite. They worked very careful and left the area super clean when the job was completed."

"The worker was very polite, friendly and professional. I first explain what I had been experiencing for quite a number of years. I had work done on the same area but was never truly repaired. I have kept a bucket under the sink for years. The worker never interrupted me, listened carefully then immediately identified the problem. He extended himself by offering to replace the old baskets strainings on both sides of the sink. He also offered to cleaned the pipe under the sink that was horrible. I was thrilled after the work was completed. He made sure no leaks would be found and if so he mentioned their six months warranty. I didn't see one drop of water no where under my sink. The baskets strainings made my sink look brand new. He made me a very happy and satisfied customer. I have other work that needs attention to in the near future. I plan to hire "The City Base Plumbing" company for all my other repairs needed at my home. The cost of repair was $289.00 without my discount. After my discount was added, I was very pleased with the cost. Considering the trouble I have been experiencing for so many years it was well worth the price.
