David Smith and Evan Bylsma did an excellent job. They were very professional and did the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend them and AA plumbing.

Whole house replumb. Used A&A Plumbing due to a glowing review from a friend who is extremely discerning about contracted work. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get the same individual to do the work. Biggest issue was the lack of respect for our home and treating it like a trash can. Copy and pasted from the email to them regarding issues: 12 cigarette butts found Area behind washer (lines don't allow drywall to sit flush) Area behind master sink, lack of insulation, fixtures are not secure Master closet (non-insulated lines) Area behind refrigerator (lack of insulation, mess) Undersink (Badly mounted fittings) Behind fridge to master toilet (Fitting not secure, no insulation) Guest bathroom mess Guest bathroom non-centered plate Guest bathroom gap under shower faucet Partial insulated lines, didn't clean up in the attic (plastic from insulation, sections of cut PEX, insulation) Lines to shower run backwards (I did say it was okay to 'fix it' like that) Lines mounted in a way that they protrude passed the studs (some cases further out than thickness of drywall) Washing machine hook up backwards When attempting to find a leak from the install, they pried up the AC return grille Scratched a brand new refrigerator by manhandling it instead of adjusting the leveling feet Glass coffee carafe broken in the sink, nothing mentioned For the lines in the attic, I had to go back and re-insulate them as they installed the clamp in the insulation so the lines wouldn't be fully insulated. Large sections of lines were left uninsulated by the soffit vents causing them freeze over during the last freeze. Most of the issues were addressed that are shown/described only after calling/emailing to point it out. If you do go with them, make sure they are doing it correct and double check everything they do. If Kyle is still there, ask for him.

Excellent! We have used A&A for approximately 15 years. The plumbers at A&A are top notch. Recently, we had all shower heads, in wall controllers, and hardware replaced for 2 bathrooms. David Williams was our plumber. He did a great job and we love our updated bathroom showers thanks to David. Once again another quality job by A&A plumbing! In addition to working with David, we also worked with Kerry to coordinate our job and make any necessary arrangements. Kerry is very personable and responsive...simply put, Kerry is awesome! One of the bathrooms required access to the plumbing by cutting a hole in sheetrock in the wall behind the bathroom and the other bathroom needed tile cut out for access. The work to replace/repair the sheetrock and tile was performed by Warren at Bexar Home Repair and when he came to provide us a quote as well as when he performed the repair work, he commented on how impressed he was with the careful and precise removal of the tile by the plumber to allow for ease of replacement.

It was awesome. Used them several times including tankless water heater.

Both times the jobs were completed satisfactory and reasonable cost. Very professional from the time we contacted the office to finishing the job.

Setting up an appointment, responsiveness and punctuality were excellent. 19 months ago I had a leak on my residential water main repaired. Unfortunately the main is leaking again. I couldn't recall offhand who had done the work last time but did a quick search on Angie's List and chose A& A. From the moment I called, the experience was excellent. Carrie (sp? sorry) took my call and had me set up and had two techs at my door in less than two hours. The techs, Kyle and Dale were extremely quick in coming up with a price estimate. I don't want to say it was off the charts but.. I had watched the previous tech repair the leak in less than an hour. I went through my records and located the receipt. With a 10% discount, I had paid $270. On this call, A&A quoted me $475 for the same work so unfortunately I did not okay the repair.

Patrick & Jared came out today. They were both were friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. They thoroughly explained the current issue and provided a really good theory on what could've caused the leak. I was provided three different options that not only took care of the leak but other maintenance items that we hadn't even thought about yet. Also, Kerry, the first person I spoke to, was very nice and explained their entire process from start to finish. Overall, the experience was positive and I would hire them again if the need arises.

Swimmingly! Ryan showed up within 20 minutes of my call and had me sorted out within an hour. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Would call again.

We very help. Contacted them in the morning, they said they could have someone out within 30 minutes. Adam arrived and was very professional and the leak was taken care of within 2 hours. He also repaired it so that the shut off valve was easier to get to and provided a better cover to ensure mud does not cover it. This was something none of the other companies we have used in the past have done. Will definitely use this company again.

Called late afternoon and scheduled a morning time frame to do the work. Arrived as scheduled, repaired the leak and done in a hour. I have had bad experiences with plumbers in this area, but not today. Joey was the lead and I have nothing but good things to say. They are on my "to call" list.

Patrick was informative and friendly. All work was performed quickly and professionally at a reasonable price. We signed up for an annual VIP account which will give us discounts on our faucet upgrades later this year. Much better service and value than our previous plumbing company. A & A Plumbing's high reviews are deserved.

It took a second visit to get to the bottom of the problem. Initially, the problem seemed to have been solved. However, soon afterwards, the water began to rise at the top of the toilet and eventually overflowed. Upon the second visit, Ryan removed the toilet and discovered a large plastic object lodged in toilet base opening. At each visit, Ryan explained the options prior to doing any of the work. Low estimate fee and quick response.

When I made the appointment, we were told it would be difficult to get someone out past 5. So we took off work to make sure we were available for the 4-4:30 slot we were given. The plumber got there 20 after 5, and was dispatched almost an hour before he arrived at the house. This was really frustrating because we took off work for nothing. Once he got there, he spent literally 95% of the time writing a quote and barely even looked at the plumbing. I made a point to send the inspection report to the company so someone would know what they were looking at but they had not seen the report upon arrival. They seemed like nice people, and the "quote" was cheap, but it was a bit of a frustrating experience considering the amount of people involved (realtors, inspectors, etc) and an hour and a half wait for 5 mins of their time.

Terrific! On time! Friendly, courteous, and explaination superb. Patience in answering questions.

They charged $216.00 to diagnose (locate) the leak. They replaced the shut-off valve at he wall that controls water flow to the toilet tank. They billed me $422.00 including the diagnostic fee, for the job. I explained this repair to two other plumbing companies who also thought this was a very high charge for what was done. To further my frustration, they same toilet started leaking again two days after their repair. They have never returned any of my calls.

This is a review for Patrick S at A & A Plumbing in San Antonio, Texas. We had two sinks in the same bathroom that were draining slowly. This was not an emergency, so I made an appointment for two business days later. The person on the phone was polite and helpful and did a good job explaining the company policies about the service charge (about $20) that is credited towards any work done and what to expect when the plumbers came. I was given a 4 hour window and they came very near the beginning of the window. They called in advance to confirm and then again to let me know when the plumber was actually on his way and the name to expect. When Patrick got here, he gave a description of what was the likely problem and a quote to fix both sinks at once as we agreed the problem was probably past where the sink drain pipes joined up. He promised to talk over any surprises he found before doing anything extra, but his diagnosis was correct and they had both sinks draining wonderfully in less than an hour. Patrick and his colleague were pleasant and left everything as clean as when they came. They did not push selling me extra services, although they did ask if I had any other issues. I felt the price was fair for the high quality service I got. I will use this company again if we have another plumbing problem.

I do really like my plumber. They are really quick to respond. I was still having problems with the toilet after they installed it. I called him and he came right out the next day. Some adjustment had to be made. I'm signed up for  some yearly service now.

Ryan and Abe showed up today to replace the incorrect drain that was installed by another contractor for our new shower. When they opened up the area, they found the other contractor had put wall pipes into the ground, didn't even seal or connect them correctly, and found they had gotten concrete all the way into the p-trap. Because our vent pipe was in the way, they had to dig out a larger area and replace that as well. The original contractor showed up and was not only unprofessional, but was downright beligerant. Ryan stayed very calm and handled the contractor like the professional he is! He and Abe not only repaired and replaced everything, he checked everything for any other problems so we could be assured smooth sailing from now on. Ryan and Abe showed me they take pride in doing a great job and making sure the customer is completely satisfied. The pictures attached are showing the horrible work the other contractor did, and the NEW piping A & A Plumbing did. I would recommend them 1000%. IF I ever need a plumber again, A & A Plumbing will be the ONLY company I will call. MANY kudos to Ryan and Abe!
