"Great. Ted came out the first day and applied chemicals to remove the old paint that a previous owner had applied to the bathtub. He came out the next day to remove the old paint, repaired the finish of the porcelain tub, and then applied a clear coat. It looks brand new. He also fixed the drain that was installed incorrectly at no extra charge. Ted did a great job of arriving on time, not causing a mess in our house, keeping the fumes to a minimum, and cleaning up after he was complete. Will definitely hire again."
"Amazing value! Incredible service! Top notch communications! I called Mark Masters at 3:30 PM and told them I had seen their disposal install special on Angie's List, and wanted to schedule their service. The appointment was scheduled for the next day between 10:00 AM and Noon. The next morning I received a text around 8:00 AM from Mark stating that an earlier appointment had cancelled and asking if they could come earlier. I said yes, the plumber (Seth) was at my house within 15 minutes, and the install was complete in about 30 minutes. Seth was clean cut and polite, the kind of guy you'd trust around your grandmother. "Super nice guys. Very eager to please. Did some things extra at no charge. He noticed and so had cemented a large stone step that had come loose, just to be nice. He even painted the workbench (unrequested). Work done: Replaced several 2x4s that had rotted. Sprayed the area with anti-mildew product, then replaced damaged paneling, and painted those areas. Gave advice on some runoff drainage needed for the area. "

You can technically install tile over tile, but we don’t suggest it. Installing tile over any surface that isn’t a completely flat and prepared subfloor will result in a shoddy overall job, uneven flooring, tiles that don’t adhere, extra weight, gaps, cracks, and room for moisture and dirt to enter. For the best results, only install new tile on a flat, sanded surface like subflooring or concrete that is prepared for tile.
If you have asbestos tile and would rather tile over it than remove it, or if your existing tile is completely flat and bonded tightly to the floor, you may be able to tile over existing tile. But experts recommend thinking twice before you do.
You can lay tile directly on a plywood countertop, but if it’s a high-traffic surface in a kitchen, it’s better to add a moisture-resistant base. Plywood is susceptible to moisture, so if dampness seeps through from the surface around the sink or where you prep food, it can cause the plywood to warp, leading to grout damage, cracked tiles, or mold growth under the surface.

Mortar is typically used for bonding stones and brick. Thinset is rarely used outside, while mortar is rarely used inside.

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.
