Amazing, the design house was incredible to work with.

I went to The Design House to pick out tile for bathrooms, countertops for my whole house , and window treatments. Building a home can be very overwhelming with an abundance of choices and decisions to be made. During the process of our home build I could go anywhere to select materials. Upon stepping foot in The Design House I was astonished at their showroom. They had so many selections of tile, flooring, cabinetry, carpet, and countertops. Instead of driving around to multiple big box stores and dragging materials around to order and make decisions I was able to find everything I needed for my bathrooms and countertops. It was extremely helpful to have everything there to pull together and visualize what each space would look like. There really is no place like it in the DFW area. The whole process exceeded my expectations and I even ordered more material my installer needed with a phone call and email while I was sitting on a beach on vacation. The ease of selecting and designing my spaces, ordering and picking up all my material was extremely time saving. They also fabricated and installed my countertops throughout the whole house. They turned out beautiful. I purchased quartzite slabs and was also able to take advantage of their price per Sf quartz materials for areas such as my laundry room, pantry, home office and bathrooms. I had such a fantastic experience I even went back and ordered all my window treatments with them. When I tell you it’s a one stop shop I’m not kidding. If you are building a home, needing materials, or looking into a remodeling project I highly recommend The Design House.

Have not engaged in project yet because of Covet surge. This company was most helpful and professional in giving us a bid to do the work. When we start the project, it will be with Design House.

We self installed, customer service rep at the store was very helpful in showing us materials in a variety of price ranges and styles

Our experience working with Carpets Plus was fantastic. We found them to be competitive, competent, reliable and professional throughout our flooring and carpet upgrade.. They have an extensive showroom and were very helpful explaining the various choices for kitchen flooring and carpeting and even allowed us to borrow a couple of samples to match to our paint, wallpaper, and woodwork. Since we preferred doing the kitchen flooring before carpeting, we were given staggered install dates for the kitchen followed by carpeting a day after kitchen completion. Even though there was an unforeseen hiccup with the vinyl not arriving on time to their warehouse and the carpet arriving early, we mutually agreed to postpone any install until the vinyl came in. When the vinyl arrived they set up new install dates. With the kitchen install only a day off I decided I just was not comfortable with the stress of carpet install next day after vinyl work. I called Carpets Plus and they gratiously re-scheduled our carpet install giving us more time. Crews installing our kitchen vinyl arrived punctually at the appointed time and my wife and I found the whole crew to be both courteous and completely professional in their work. The crew installing the carpeting also arrived punctually, and as with the vinyl crew, were highly skilled and meticulous that shows in the quality of our upgrade. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out and love our new flooring! I would be more than happy to recommend Carpets Plus to anyone as I would use them again myself if needed..

I told the designer what I wanted in my new bathroom and she guided me through my choices and made an overwhelming problem (for me) simple.  I choose the marble for the counter tops, porcelain tile for the shower, accent trim and vinyl plank in the store.  I went to a plumbing supply store to check out fixtures and bathtubs and gave the designer my choices.
 At this point she was able to give me an accurate estimate for the work.   I choose a start date and everything was on site before any demo started.   I was given a schedule on what work would be done on which day.  Everything was scheduled for one trade to follow another with no wasted time.  My designer was available for questions at any time and was responsive and came to the house several times to check on progress.
Everything went as planned and I have a beautiful new bathroom.   The colors are simple and elegant.  I am hopeless at visualizing the big picture, but I trusted the designer and she really nailed it

They haven't done any work yet but I think they are very friendly and courteous.

I came in with a sample of carpet from my living room. I wanted to match it. Susan was able to help me very quickly. She also went over the selections of granite. I came in the next day with a cabinet door and tile sample from my kitchen. Susan provided me with several samples to take home to decide on. She came later that week to measure for the carpet and counter tops. She provided me a reasonably comparable quote for both. We scheduled the installation. Granite installers came and did the templates for the counter tops. Later that next week, Susan called about the granite I chose. They did not have enough for the project. She invited me to see the current inventory with the appropriate amount. I found a better one and she honored the previous quote. Susan scheduled the projects on consecutive days. They did the granite first. The guys that came kept a close eye on minimizing damage to the cabinets and walls. They did a great job and completed the job the same day. The next day was the carpet installation. I would have to say the installers were quick and very professional. I am very impressed with the quality of work and the level of detail and customer service. Thank you Susan and installers there at CARPETS PLUS Flooring, Design and Renovation in Denton Texas.

They are doing interior-exterior paint, new carpet, new wood floors, a formal dinning room framed in to make it a home office, new granite counter tops, new back-splash. It has not been a very good experience.
 I would say if someone was considering using Carpets Plus, do not consider them for big jobs. Their overall attention to detail on a bigger job is just not there. They did a decent job putting in the granite counter-tops, back-splash and carpet. The overall interior-exterior painting was very sloppy. The wooden floors they put in was very sloppy, along with the baseboards through out the entire home. The framing, where they framed in the formal dinning room to make it a study was sloppy as well.
We had the wood floors put in and wood going up the stairs. When they finished the wood floors they didn't cover them. So, they did all this other work inside the house and the wood floors were just left bare, brand new wood floors. The workers were tracking in and out on the wood floors doing paint, texture, granite, back-splash, and carpet. In my mind the wood floors should have been done towards the end of the project versus at the first. If not, then covered so that they were protected. We complained toward the end of the project and had to tell them to cover the floors. 
Their sales lady tried to lie to us. She told us the tack strip for the carpet was bad and they had to remove it and were on the way back to the store to get new tack strip. When I called and said the tack strip was fine and I was not paying for new tack strip, she gave the phone to their "quality control person" he tells me that the tack strip has not been removed and there was a misunderstanding on how clean we wanted the floor before the carpet was installed. 
The same "quality control person" came back to our house several times to fix things that we would find after the overall job was supposedly completed. We still owed money, so we asked them how were they going to be about coming back to fix things we find later on after we paid in full. He said that he would come back as many times as needed and would make it right. He went on and on about his integrity and how he was heavily involved in the church. 1st time we scheduled to have him back for  a list of things we had found after we paid in full. He comes into our house and tells me "we aren't doing that", without even looking at the area being discussed. I told him to leave. I could not take anymore of the lies and flat out disrespect from this guy. 
The owners of the company have never once tried to get in contact with us. We called once and asked to speak to them and was told they weren't available. I asked to have the owners at our house for a meeting and discuss our dissatisfaction during the work and was told they were out of town and could not be there. I own a small business and would never allow my employees to be the final say toward customer satisfaction.
