"Fantastic results. Floor looks great. Installers took care with the install and all the related details including cleanup. Hubbard Flooring and Home a la Cart were both courteous, accommodating, and simply great to work with. Kevin their job foreman was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend this company."

"I have over 2400 square feet that had different tile in each room. This company came in and got to work immediately. They DONâ T play. Within three full days, they had removed all the old tile, leveled out the floor and installed new luxury vinyl planks throughout my entire home. We had Ricardo leading the demo team and Sergio leading the install team. These guys were fast, communicating with me the whole time, very knowledgeable and super respectful. It was actually a very easy process from start to finish and my floor is BEAUTIFUL! I wake up smiling as soon as I put my foot down and open my eyes. I would recommend them to my friends and family and use them again for any flooring project in the future. I couldnâ t be happier!"

"I was very pleased with the installation of my new porcelain tiles. The price was very competitive and the installers did an excellent job from prep to installation and even to the cleanup afterwards. I waited a few months to post the review just to see how well the flooring has held up, and there have been zero issues even in high-traffic areas. Highly recommended!"

"During a recent bathroom remodel, the tub suffered some damage that had not been present prior to the remodel. Numerous places were chipped and the areas that had been treated (at the factory-prior to purchase) to be skid-resistant were now dirty looking. Normal bathroom cleaning products could not get them looking any better. I contacted the first refinishing company who requested photos be emailed to them. They then gave a quote of $820 for the work that needed to be done, and they recommended their Turnkey Service, an additional $95, which would cover the cost of them returning the next day to re-caulk & clean up- things that cannot be done until the finish dries. Part of that quote included completely stripping, then "skinning" the tub because, they had determined from looking at the photos, that the tub had been refinished before. WHAT? We purchased the house new, and this is a guest bathroom that has seen little use prior to the remodel. We have never had any reason to refinish the tub until the damage done during the remodel. Anyway, I returned to Angie's list to find someone else to get another quote. I spoke with Ted who gave me a price for what he figured needed to be done based on me telling him there were some chips and such that had been temporarily patched to keep any rust from forming. The potential savings was worthwhile to have him come out to look at the tub in person to assess what would actually need to be done. He came the next day, confirmed the price he had quoted, and said it could be done right then. We were in the middle of having the master bath remodeled, which meant our other bathroom was already out of commission... so I was hesitant to proceed right then... but he said it would take only about 1.5 hours, so we decided to do it. The end result is beautiful. Just like new? No, but closer than it did BEFORE the damage done by the remodel because it looks clean. No dingy anti-skid patches. And 100 times better than it did when New Finish started. We are very pleased with the finished project and would recommend seeing if New Finish will work for you before spending a fortune with the other company."
Heavy rust under the bathmat used to cover it
Good shape but very dated
Deep soaking tub but hard to step over sidewalls
Looks infinitely better and compliments the newer granite vanities. The customer wished she’d know about this before the new vanity installation!
Dated granite good condition

"He explained every thing he would be doing. He was fast and efficient. He pointed out the stains that would probably not come out (the carpet is 15 years old). He was able to get all of the other stains out, even a patch of ink from an ink jet printer. Since the process only leaves about a gallon of water in the entire carpet, it was dry in about 3-4 hours. Will use again and again."

"I purchased the Angie's List deal for faucet installation for my bathroom vanity. I received a quick response after making an order and had it installed the next day. They were very professional and prompt and arrived at the agreed time. I just couldn't believe someone came out as fast as they did. I definitely plan on using them in the future.

"Allen Floors did an excellent job in providing me new carpeting in my bedrooms and closets. David and Johnny had a no-pressure sales pitch and we're knowledgeable about their products. The installation crew did a 1st rate job. I have been very happy with my new carpeting. I would definitely recommend Allen Floors and would use them again in the future."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

There are several different products that allow underwater repair. Pool putty can help repair chips, cracks, and loose tiles without draining your pool, but it should only be used for a temporary fix. Certain two-part epoxy adhesives will cure underwater, too. That said, while it is technically possible to fix pool tiles underwater, it is usually not ideal, depending on the depth of your pool. You will still have to reach the tile, which means you might have to dive and make the repair while submerged.

No, painting shower tile doesn’t last and is better reserved as a temporary solution to refreshing the look of old tiles. Shower tile paint may last around one to five years, depending on how well you prep the surface before painting, the type of paint you use, the type of tile in your shower, and how often you use the shower.

The lifespan of bathroom tile can be 50 years or more, depending on proper installation and regular maintenance. A well-done tile job, whether it's a new installation or a retiling project, can last for many decades. To lengthen the life of your tile, it's best to have it installed by a professional and to perform regular maintenance. This includes routine cleaning, resealing, and regrouting as needed. With proper care, you can expect your tile to last 10 years or more before needing major repairs or retiling, especially in high-traffic areas where tiles can wear out more quickly.

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

Glazed ceramic tiles don’t need to be sealed because the glazing already offers some protection against moisture. Unglazed ceramic tiles need to be sealed to keep the porous tile safe from moisture and staining. However, both types of tile can benefit from sealing. Sealant can make the tiles easier to keep clean and offer more resistance to water, spills, and stains.
