"We had a great experience with Glaziers and Co. They replaced a large sunroom window that had cracked from top to bottom due to a foundation issue. Andy and his team clearly informed of us the process of window replacement from beginning to end. They were professional, easy to work with, and got the job done quickly at a great price. We'd definitely recommend them!"

"I couldnâ t give a 5 star on the question of value received for money spent. Iâ ve never had a need for a glass professional so I had nothing to compare it to. The final product was perfect so I was happy to pay the invoice."

"I had a couple questions about some trim on the inside part of some of the windows and the owner himself came out to make sure everything was done right and that I was happy with the install and new windows."

"John removed everything in the kitchen down to the bare walls and floor.  He recommended Roberson Trim and Cabinets to build new cabinets and they are beautiful and of excellent quality.  He removed overhead lighting box and replaced with pot lights and pendant lights.  Cabinets were installed and painted.  Lighting was placed in upper glass cabinets.  John installed a new glass back splash and we couldn't be happier.  New tile floor was put down and walls were painted.  He installed all new appliances and a new toilet in the half bath.  John is a very hard worker and does an extremely professional job in all areas.  He makes sure to keep the work area as clean as possible.  The quality of his work is superb.  The kitchen is beautiful and we enjoy it a great deal.  We would not hesitate to use him again for any job that we need.

"Great experience. USA Glass was very quick to respond to my request for quote, provided service within hours (at most), provided a warranty for their work, and cost much less than the HomeAdvisor flat rate."

"It went very fast. They ask you to have the furniture and curtains away from the windows for when they show up they lay down tarps inside for any broken glass that may fall inside and they won by one start taking out the old windows and fit the new ones and they are done in no time 18 windows took them about hrs and that was completely refitting a bay window. Very pleased with there work."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Start by attaching the mirror to a wall stud if possible. Next, use appropriate hardware for the mirror's size and the wall material. That could look like drywall anchors, toggle bolts, or self-drilling anchors to ensure a strong hold. Additionally, D-rings or hanging brackets are more secure than a nail. You can also use mirror adhesive to secure small or larger mirrors with a vanity as a base.

Replacing window glass instead of the entire window is more cost-effective, maintains the frame's aesthetics, and reduces waste. It improves insulation and energy efficiency and can be completed more quickly with minimal disruption to the home.

Yes, it is possible to repair a damaged or cracked mirror, but whether you should do it yourself depends on the extent of the damage. For minor issues like small chips, cracks, and scratches, you can use a DIY approach. Resin-based repair kits can fix minor cracks, while scratches can often be removed with metal polish, nail polish, baking soda, or a glass polisher. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the best results.

However, for more significant damage, DIY repair is not recommended. Repairing and resilvering mirrors is a delicate process that can involve caustic chemicals and requires a high level of precision. The materials for a DIY attempt can cost over $100, which may not be a significant saving compared to hiring a professional. Since a failed attempt could result in more damage and higher repair costs, it is often better to hire a mirror repair expert from the start, especially for large, valuable, or extensively damaged mirrors.

Yes, smart glass can be blacked out. Blackout smart glass allows homeowners to turn windows from transparent to blacked out instantaneously.

Standard mirrors come in many different shapes, sizes, and thicknesses, so you can often find a great fit for your space without adding customizations. Custom mirrors are ideal if your space has very specific constraints. For instance, you may need a much longer or wider mirror than you can find in a standard mirror. You might also want a custom mirror if you have particular styling preferences, such as a frame with a specific finish or a unique edge.
