"I had an electrical outlet installed on my brick fireplace so I could hang my TV up. I was quoted from another company $600 and would have the outlet box exposed from the brick. I used Enoch and it done for $150. Plug looks great! I'll use Enoch anytime I need electric work done."

"William, the Technician was very professional and discovered the problem right away. Then informed me that he would perform a safety check on all the electrical connections in the electrical panel free as part of the agreed on pricing. This was a really good experience and would highly recommend Mr Electric North West to anyone who need electrical help!"

"Jordan was willing to tackle the oddball request of troubleshooting the Christmas tree lights/tree trunk wiring on a Balsam Hill Christmas tree. I’ve had three Balsam Hill Christmas trees with lighting issues and wasn’t going to spend the money again on a tree with “crappy” lights/wiring. I decided to find an electrician who was willing and able to take on the task. Jordan identified the issue and came up with a workaround so that all tree sections received the power needed to run the lights. He was very knowledgeable and professional. If I have any other electrical needs, I would call him again."

"Mike P., the tech I called for a general estimate, came out on time and diagnosed the problem I was having with my electricity. He made his diagnosis simplistic and gave me the info I needed just in case I chose another company. But, because he was so welcoming and his estimate was really reasonable I hire him on the spot. His work was clean and quick. And if I ever need another electrician in the future I wouldn't hesitate to call Logo Electrical Services!"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

For electrical projects in Spring, always use materials that meet the National Electrical Code and are approved by the Spring Building Department. THHN or THWN-2 wires are recommended for indoor wiring, while UF-B cable is suitable for underground runs. Choose UL-listed circuit breakers and GFCI outlets, and ensure all materials are rated for the local climate to pass inspection and ensure long-term safety.

Helpful?

In Spring, common mistakes include starting work without obtaining an electrical permit, using non-compliant materials, or skipping required inspections from the Spring Building Department. Some homeowners attempt complex wiring themselves, risking code violations and safety hazards. Always verify your contractor's license with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and follow local permit and inspection procedures to avoid costly setbacks.

Helpful?

In Spring, hot and humid summers can affect electrical project timelines, especially for outdoor work, as materials may degrade faster in extreme heat. Heavy rains can delay trenching or underground installations. It's wise to plan major electrical upgrades during milder months and use weather-resistant materials approved by the Spring Building Department to ensure compliance and durability in local conditions.

Helpful?

In Spring, most electrical work—including panel upgrades, new circuits, and major appliance installations—requires an electrical permit from the Spring Building Department. Minor repairs, like replacing outlets, may be exempt for owner-occupied homes, but it's best to confirm with local officials. Inspections are mandatory for permitted work, and all projects must comply with the National Electrical Code and Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation standards.

Helpful?

Before starting electrical work in Spring, contact the Spring Building Department to verify permit requirements and gather necessary forms. Schedule required inspections—typically at rough-in and final stages—early to avoid backlogs. Confirm your contractor is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Using code-compliant materials and understanding local inspection timelines will help prevent costly delays and ensure your project runs smoothly.
