"We hired Joe and Yoli from Aggie Inspector Group to do a mold inspection on a house that we are buying. Joe is very knowledgeable and experienced. He walked us through the whole process, answered all of our questions, gave us additional helpful information about our home, and provided us with a clear path to remediate our mold issue. I would highly recommend Joe and Yoli from Aggie Inspector Group!"

"I had mold under my refrigerators and I had called several companies, and they all quoted me these ridiculously high prices . I got the call from Joel Fallas and he came over here within an hour. He was so quick. He looked at the problem, I said I was going to pay you for this, and told me what to do to get rid of the mold. I tried to pay him and he said no. He said I will not take your money. I did what he told me to do and I got rid of the mold, and he called me later that day to see how it works and make sure if I was happy,, and I said yes. I just what to tell how honest this man."

"Mold Test Company makes a point of not themselves providing mold remediation services, so theoretically they don't have an incentive to find mold. In my case, they did, and immediately recommended their partner Biocide Labs for remediation products. They were even able to transfer me directly to Biocide, whose representative then recommended a high-priced do-it-yourself kit. While the products recommended seem effective, I chose to have my ducts professionally cleaned. Mold Test Company provided lab results of their testing but could not tell me where their sample were taken, and they did not provide photos of actual mold in my house."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

Schedule mold testing in Spring if you detect musty smells, see mold covering more than a small area, or notice unexplained allergy symptoms. After flooding, roof leaks, or plumbing issues, prompt testing is essential. The lower humidity from October to March in Spring makes remediation more effective, but don’t delay if you suspect hidden water damage or if mold returns after cleaning.

Helpful?

For mold testing in TX, use moisture meters, air quality pumps, and surface swabs for accurate detection. Remediation requires N95 respirators, disposable coveralls, HEPA-filtered vacuums, antimicrobial cleaning agents, and heavy-duty plastic sheeting for containment. In Spring’s humid climate, consider using dehumidifiers, quick-setting repair compounds, and mold-resistant building materials to help prevent future outbreaks and maintain indoor air quality.

Helpful?

In Spring, if you notice mold spreading into wall cavities, recurring musty odors after cleaning, or discoloration on ceilings following heavy rain, these are signs of deeper moisture issues. Persistent health symptoms, warped baseboards, or bubbling paint often indicate water damage behind surfaces. Rapid mold regrowth after storms is a clear signal that professional assessment is needed before bigger repairs arise.

Helpful?

For small mold patches under 10 square feet in Spring, use a non-ammonia cleaner or a vinegar solution, and scrub the area with a stiff brush while wearing protective gear like an N95 mask, gloves, and goggles. Open windows for airflow, promptly dry any damp surfaces, and discard porous items like carpet tiles. If mold returns quickly or spreads, consult a local expert.

Helpful?

Spring’s frequent rain and consistently high humidity create ideal conditions for mold, especially after storms or during summer heat. These patterns can slow drying and increase the risk of hidden moisture in walls or attics. Scheduling remediation during the drier fall and winter months in Spring helps ensure faster drying, better humidity control, and more effective long-term results.
