"Had to replace portion of glass shower enclosure frame in order to replace magnet for door closure that was failing due to corrosion. Very knowledgeable of work performed. More expensive than expected due to having to buy a set of frame pieces since could not buy single piece required for repair."

"I had a couple questions about some trim on the inside part of some of the windows and the owner himself came out to make sure everything was done right and that I was happy with the install and new windows."

Customers say: Quick response

"Franklin was great to work with, and he completed the job very quickly. His quote for the work was lower than any other I received for this job, and even though he had to do a little more work than he planned, he still only charged me according to the original quote. I will be sure to hire USA Glass for any other glass projects around my house."

"It went very fast. They ask you to have the furniture and curtains away from the windows for when they show up they lay down tarps inside for any broken glass that may fall inside and they won by one start taking out the old windows and fit the new ones and they are done in no time 18 windows took them about hrs and that was completely refitting a bay window. Very pleased with there work."

"We are overall pleased with the install. However, the guys who installed them left broken glass on my bedroom door that I stepped on. Also, the caulk around the outside could have been smoothed out. Other than that, it was all good."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

This happens when condensation forms due to your room temperature being lower than its dew point. You can clean the glass with a combination of baking soda, vinegar, and warm water to wipe away the fog from the doors.

For small cracks, glass-bonding glue that can be pressed into cracks may be able to save a broken mirror. If a corner of a mirror has been chipped, you may be able to conceal the fact by adding a border or frame to the mirror. Deeper cracks and chips should be addressed by a glass-restoration professional if you're trying to preserve an antique or heirloom mirror.

Cutting glass yourself can be dangerous, as the edges are sharp and can easily cause lacerations if you’re not careful. Working with larger pieces of glass is especially dangerous, as they can be cumbersome and difficult to handle without shattering. If you’re uncomfortable doing the work yourself, you can hire a professional to get the job done safely.

Once you’ve gotten any scuff marks, grime, and burn marks off your glass stovetop you can use vinegar to finalize the clean without leaving streaks. Just put some white vinegar in a spray bottle and spritz it onto the stovetop before wiping it in a consistent direction with a microfiber cloth.

Distilled white vinegar removes stickers from glass by breaking down the adhesive with its acidic qualities. You can apply the vinegar to the area with a sponge or cleaning cloth. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes, and then scrape the area with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card.
