"Landscaping service is outstanding all materials and drainage system used were completely explained with pictures so that I had a visual view, they took their time, the gravel and stepping stones were neatly placed, all the necessary steps were explained to me and I was given the opportunity to actually see each step upon completion before the next step was started. I have never experienced this level of professionalism and courtesy. Upon the completion of the job everything was washed and old landscape materials along with excess were hauled away. Suggestions were advised for other areas as well. This is truly a top tier company that I will and do recommend for any outdoors project done correctly you will not be disappointed."

"John Lyone was easy to work with. Attentive, honest and efficient in his answers. Julio, my man helping to plan and manage the work was awsome. He had lot of knowledge and found solutions to any obsticles as the work progressed. He went above and beyond. Communication was very easy. I am very happy with completion of my project of installing AC/minisplit, drain / water to run faucet, garbage disposal, electricals, gas stove, hood through roof, cooktop, cabinet for enclosed outdoor kitchen. The high strength aluminum glass enclosure in the picture is from separate company."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

You should dig 3 to 6 inches deep for plastic edging. Dig as wide as you need to fit your plastic edging into it—2 inches is usually sufficient.

The easier way to find buried sprinkler lines is to use the plan from the professionals who installed the system. If you don’t have professional plans, listen for running water on your lawn when you turn on the system. You may also spot wet areas, giving you an idea of where the heads are. Once you find the sprinkler heads, you’ll likely be able to connect the dots between them, revealing the system below.

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.

There is no standard depth for burying a septic tank; they are typically buried anywhere from 4 inches to 4 feet underground. The final depth depends on several factors, including the depth of your main sewer line, the height of the bedrock, soil type, local regulations, and the property's landscape. If you plan to grow grass or plants over the tank, a depth of at least 4 to 6 inches is recommended. Deeper tanks can be more difficult to locate, but a septic professional can help find it for you.

Most professional excavation teams will charge between $8 and $15 per cubic yard. Calculate the cost by finding the volume of your pool—width x length x depth—and dividing it by 27. Then, multiply the price by the cubic yards from your equation. Budget for complications like a rocky lawn, hard-to-access pool area, or high local labor prices.
