"I spoke to Giselle at Concrete Creations and received a quote for a new semi-circle driveway for the front of my residence. In addition to the driveway, I wanted a connecting sidewalk to both of my front doors. The quote was extremely reasonable, and she was very professional. It took me 3 months to get this approved in The Woodlands due to the amount of paved surface area versus natural surface. When approved, Concrete Creations completed the work quickly. I am thrilled at the result and think they "hit it out of the park." The new driveway is awesome! Thank you!"

"I had the walkway from the house replaced, plus widened along with the entire driveway and sidewalks in front of the house during the last week of April and first week of May this year (2026). The previous concrete areas had shifted, sunk, along with cracking and tilling due to age, wear and tear plus multiple city water main breaks in the 50 years since the house was originally built. Jason L. at [email protected] did the estimate, work with his crew on site beginning to end. This included the estimate, a recent survey and permitting for what we were having done. He used all of his own equipment to remove the old concrete, setting up forms based on what we wanted enlarged in some areas and the setting up of the rebar, scheduling the delivery of concrete and getting the new wet concrete throughout where it was needed without damaging areas outside of the desired work spaces. I found Jason thru Angie's list and like others that spoke so highly of his work on the Angie site."

"Naji and his team were responsive and did a great job. Despite some rain delays, they poured the curb cut and a long sidewalk over a weekend, complete with excavation and cleanup. I would definitely use them again for any concrete work. As a small time real estate investor, I hire a lot of contractors. They are definitely top 10%!"

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

In Spring, a well-done asphalt paving job features a smooth, even surface with sharp edges and no standing water after rain. The base should be compacted to handle shifting clay soils common in the area, and the asphalt layer should be at least 2-3 inches thick. Look for proper driveway slope, no premature cracking, and edges that resist crumbling, especially near oak or pine tree roots.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Spring are involved in selecting the paving layout, approving drainage solutions, and choosing materials that suit the local climate. You’ll also decide on edge treatments, coordinate access for equipment, and set preferences for sealcoating frequency. Inspecting the base before paving and joining the final walkthrough helps ensure the project meets both your expectations and the unique needs of your property.

Helpful?

In Spring, functional needs like effective drainage and heat resistance are essential due to heavy rainfall and high summer temperatures. Homeowners often select curved driveways to work around large magnolia trees and choose earth-tone sealers that match local brick homes. All layouts must comply with typical HOA setback rules, and decorative edging is popular for blending with established neighborhood landscaping.

Helpful?

In Spring, check for cracks or drainage issues after winter. During summer, look for surface fading or soft spots from heat. After fall storms, clear leaves and debris, and prepare for crack sealing. In winter, watch for pooling water or ice. Clean the surface monthly, address any cracks promptly, keep drains clear, schedule annual professional asphalt maintenance, and plan driveway resurfacing every few years.

Helpful?

In Spring, homeowners should plan around the rainy season and avoid peak hurricane months. Consider the impact of clay soil movement and roots from mature trees like live oaks. Check if your property is in a flood-prone area, secure HOA approval, and obtain necessary permits. Be aware of local noise restrictions, coordinate utility marking, and factor in driveway resurfacing needs due to seasonal weather changes.
