"Needed transfer switch installed on back of garage and modifications to breaker box. G4 got it all done in less than two hours. I had to leave, so we didn’t test the installation (my bad, but i knew the generator worked). When the power went out after H Laura, I trundled the generator out, hooked it up and nothing happened. Called G4 and they came out and spent a couple hours testing the cabling, the wiring and the breaker box and found nothing amiss. Todd went back to talk to the master electrician and came back a few days later to test some ideas; they didn’t work either. I called Westinghouse, the generator manufacturer, and described the problem. They knew immediately what it was: I had to move a wire from here to there in the alternator to create a floating ground. G4 came out again, verified that i made the change correctly and we hooked it up. Worked perfectly! Props to G4 for staying with a problem that wasn’t really their fault!

"I called Ziggy based on the good reviews on this site. He answered the phone himself I explained what I needed which was replacement of three fluorescent light fixtures in my kitchen plus replacing a GFCI plug in my patio. He give me a price of $250 which I thought was good having checked out the work with other people. He even managed to have one of his workers, Miguel, come the next day. Miguel arrived early got the work done nicely and even replace bulbs in my outdoor light fixtures for me because I can’t get on a ladder very easily. Miguel was polite professional and helpful. "We have been using AirTech for years, but I realized with our busy schedule last year that I had not called them out for our biannual (spring and fall) checkups, so I called and spoke to Taylor. Turns out I did not pay an invoice to renew our yearly checkups. Turns out they have a new preventive maintenance program called Shield Membership, so I signed up. The old price was $149 a year, and now it is $179.40, but with the increased price, they will wave service fees for any repair work you need done throughout the year. (Hopefully we won't need any!) Taylor answered the phone when I called and she was delightful. We got the new annual program rolling again and set up a time for our spring checkup.
