"We recently moved into a new home and our air conditioning stopped working. The previous owners had left us a list of subcontractors they have used in the past and Select a/c was on the list. We looked them up on Angie's list and gave them a call. They were able to come out the same day and fix the problem. Oscar was our technician and he was friendly, professional and did a great job! He worked very quickly! Before entering the house he offered to cover his shoes to protect our carpet. He was the first repairman in all of my years of owning a home who has offered to do this. I was so impressed! 
Our unit is 16 years old and I have very basic knowledge of how it works. Someone could have easily walked in and told me we needed a new unit and I wouldn't have known any better. 
It is refreshing to do business with such an honest company. When this unit wears out, we will be giving them a call. 
I have programmed their number into my phone and will be referring them to all of my friends and family.

"Aire Serve Lake Worth TX did a phenomenal job servicing our gas furnace during the freeze 1/26/26. I called at 9am Monday and scheduled an appointment for between 10am and 2pm. They notified me when tech was in route and arrived at 10am. Tech Chandler Smith was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. After some troubleshooting, he was able to restore the system and get us the much-needed heat turned back on. I absolutely recommend their service. "Air conditioning stopped working on a Wednesday. David sent out a technician that afternoon to confirm the compressor was bad. The next day a crew of 3 came out in late afternoon and installed a new A/C unit (old one was 28 yo) and a new furnace (old one was 30 yo). I stuck with RUUD/Rheem due to good experiences. The crew was efficient (3 hours to do both installs), the A/C is working great with cooler air and more forceful blowing, and they briefly checked the furnace operation also. My old unit was a 10 SEER operating probably at a 7 efficiency lately and my new unit is a 14.3 SEER. I found everyone polite from the owner to the workers, addressed my needs, and answered my questions. I still use my old thermostat which is Honeywell programmable while the one they gave me was Honeywell non-programmable. And BTW, David said I probably would raise my thermostat a degree or so with the new unit, and I did without any loss of comfort. Finally, the price was the best I found."

"Metro Air did an excellent job! I highly recommend this company, especially Ron, my technician. At first I thought i just needed Freon , then thought it was a bad capacitor, come to find out I needed a whole new outside unit. The price was on the higher end of the spectrum when I googled comparable pricing, however the customer service I received was excellent. All care was kept in keeping my home, inside and outside, clean and tidy. Ron was prompt and pleasant to work with. They work on Sundays, and came out immediately when I called with my air troubles. "Last Friday, my house got the Clean Heating & Cooling Air Ducts & Vents. I couldn't located this category from the list. It was easy to set up an appointment. There was a cancellation so the company rep called me to clean my duct earlier than my appointment date. Two workers came to my house. Before they started the job, à  they inspected my vent for air and duct cleaning. Show me what the condition and problem is. The Workers were very friendly and showed me every step of what they are going to do. When a few of my vents are not cleanable so they bought a few vents from the Home Depot. And installed it for me. One special size wasn't available so I had to buy it from Amazon. If you decide to clean air and duct and inspect and buy a few vent before they come to clean. Do not buy every vents in your home but buy a few vents that look very filthy. Workers are working very hard. Since they are working without air conditioning, you need to turn off the air conditioning. Please prepare some cold water or some soda for them. Please be nice to them since they are working for your house.à Â"

"This Guy is a real pro at what he does! I don't have enough words to express my appreciation with the Job he did in my attic with the air conditioning ducts. Besides being an excellent air conditioning pro he is pleasant and honest. I had interviewed 3 other companies for the Job and I decided to go with him. The minute He went in the attic he asked me all the right questions. Questions to better replace the ducts in my two story condominium. since the air condition unit is in the first floor he needed to find the ducts on the walls in the second floor and figure out where they where. There was a duct that went to my kitchen that has never worked. He figured out that the duct came up the wall trough one of the closets. He opened a small hole on the sheet rock and fished out the duct and connected it with the other one in the attic .My home is actually cool for the first time since I moved in and I have and air condition kitchen."
