They did a good job, but charged $195 for a $60 dollar part, plus the $70 trip fee. They did provide the 10% Angie's list discount. Total cost $256 to replace the part. Professional people and he did wash both units to remove grass build up which was very nice. Very high price.

We had three quotes for a new HVAC system since ours was original to the house (22 years old) and was failing.   They were middle of the road in price but were by far the most honest, fair and knowledgeable.   He could have easily recommended us replacing our evaporator coils that are 4 years old but he said we might as well save $2500 by keeping the ones we have since they are fine and use the new refrigerant.   He took the time to explain each system and what he would recommend for our house based on the readings he took.   He was the only one who actually measured our house and looked at our vents vs the others who just quoted based on what we previously had.   On the day of installation, they were on time and finished the job in 5 hours.   They were clean, efficient and professional.   We had used them previously for spring and fall maintenance and we will continue to do so...and will recommend them to anyone.

We recently moved into a new home and our air conditioning stopped working. The previous owners had left us a list of subcontractors they have used in the past and Select a/c was on the list. We looked them up on Angie's list and gave them a call. They were able to come out the same day and fix the problem. Oscar was our technician and he was friendly, professional and did a great job! He worked very quickly! Before entering the house he offered to cover his shoes to protect our carpet. He was the first repairman in all of my years of owning a home who has offered to do this. I was so impressed! 
Our unit is 16 years old and I have very basic knowledge of how it works. Someone could have easily walked in and told me we needed a new unit and I wouldn't have known any better. 
It is refreshing to do business with such an honest company. When this unit wears out, we will be giving them a call. 
I have programmed their number into my phone and will be referring them to all of my friends and family.

Billy was a referral from another vendor doing some work on my home. I went to Angie's List to verify his work. All of his ratings were excellent, so we invited him to the home. Billy showed up when he was supposed to. Sat with us in the back yard and went through all the options and pricing. His pricing was very fair (I had several other bids) but he seemed honest, put in some freon for free to help us out for the next several days until installation occured. The day of installation, he showed up on time and brought 5 trucks over, with plenty of help. They did not damage the house and finished in around 6 hours. His workers and himself did not stop, very impressive. Very happy with Billy and his work. I will use him again, it is nice to deal with a professional.

This guy was very professional, honest, and punctual and explained everything very well to us.  He told us that the leak stop might not be a 100% cure, but the alternative was to spend a couple thousand for a new attic unit (where the leak was).  We will definitely use his service again if needed.

It went awesome. We've used them about 7 years. They're just easy to deal with. You call them up and ask for them to do something, they're very prompt in getting there. They are very efficient and knowledgeable so I trust them with all the work. I don't even bother checking anybody else.

I've used them several times and every time has been great. The prices are comparable. They guy is very honest. I had other companies came out and they quoted me other things that it didn't seem right and I called this guy out. I've saved money throughout using them. They're honest and dependable. They did a great job.

Extremely professional service provider.   Appointment set up was easy and showed up on time.  This was the first time I've used their services.   Evaluated HVAC System and provided detailed explanation of the circumstances before work was performed.   The work was completed and feel confident that my system is working better this season than it did all last season.  I will be using this provider in the future.  Great experience.
