"I cannot say enough great things about Chuck!  One of the nicest and most honest contractors I have ever worked with (and I have been in real estate for years, still have 4 rental properties in Charlotte).  Always prompt, friendly, and very helpful - genuinely cared about us and our project!  And I am NOT the easiest guy to please (just ask Chuck!!! ha).  Anyway, he helped us design the new kitchen/eating area (completely different than our original thoughts - and he made the kitchen twice as efficient and feel twice as big!), we went back and forth (conveniently, via email) all the layouts until we were happy.  He came over to our house (in Charlotte) with cabinet, tile and granite samples....and spent an hour with us as we tried out different combinations.   Once the work began, he sent us before, during, and after pictures as work progressed.  This was especially helpful since we did not live there (our vacation home in Shelby).  Even when we thought of things "after the fact" (can you add outlets to the island?  How about under counter lights?  A pull-out cabinet for pots and pans? etc) - he was absolutely accommodating, and for the items that cost extra, he simply charged us the extra labor and materials...did not gouge us as some guys try to do.....and some changes, he even said "no problem, no charge" and it was done!  So, here are the two KEY reasons I would recommend Chuck and his guys to ANYONE.  First, when my folks came down to visit, my father (who built multi-million dollar houses in Connecticut) got down on his hands and knees to check out the attention to detail - how the cabinets met the appliances, the shoe molding, etc etc and was VERY IMPRESSED.  (And if you think I am hard to please...!!!)  And the second reason is that when we had a few small glitches a few weeks after the work was done (there is always something)....his guys came out within 24 hours and fixed everything to our complete satisfaction.  I will say that he was toward the higher end of the quotes we received....but as they say, "you get what you pay for" and I would absolutely use Chuck again, and recommend him to anyone!!!

"Even though we had the house painted and some wood repairs three years ago by another company, the paint was peeling, and had lots of rotten wood due to poor sealing and prep work by the prior contractor. We got four bids and three were all in the reasonably close, with Albert's Painting being just slightly the highest. . One was significantly lower, which we dismissed.

Albert and his team did an outstanding job. The started a few days late due to the weather, but finished the job by the deadline date we had requested. The job took nine days with 4-7 workers on the job. We were impressed with the way the crew worked as a team -- it certainly made the job good much smoother.

They did everything that they had outlined in the bid, plus a few extra things that was not noted in the bid. For example we had excluded the shutters and also the screen porch flooring, but they went ahead and painted the shutters and also the screen porch flooring at no additional cost. Also while they were to replace the screens on the screen porch, they also replace a half-dozen window screens that had small rips -- again at no additional cost. All of the materials used were of the highest quality.

It was clear that Albert and the team was committed to doing a quality job and took a lot of pride in their work. Even though Albert provided a 5-year guarantee that includes an annual pressure wash, he invites you to let him know at anytime that there is any cracking, peeling etc so that it can be taken care of immediately. He honored the Angie's discount. We were very please and certainly would use him again and do highly recommend."
