"Dennis cracked my slab to put a new drain in.  When he was done he cemented the slab and you could hardly tell he cracked the slab.  Furthermore my old drain came up from the slab and because of this I had mold.  Dennis made sure that my drain was beneath the slap so I did not have anym0ore mold.  Dennis also switched over my hot and cold lines, put new lines in, installed and hooked up my sink and even hooked up my garbage disposal and dishwasher.  Everything was great.  No leakage, no water anywhere, very professional, worked around my schedule, and was truthful and honest.  I had two other plumbers that tried to sell me work that I did not need since it was a big job.  But Dennis made it and did it like a small job.  If you want the lowest price, with work done right, I would contact Dennis.  He is professional, respectful, clean, and He will save you money.

Water Softeners questions, answered by experts

Yes. Hard water is what causes scale buildup, and a whole-house filter provides numerous benefits beyond water softening. Any water that enters your home will go through the filter, which cleans up all water that you will use for cooking, bathing, and drinking. A whole-house water filter also blocks harmful particles like heavy metals.

No, a water descaler won't descale pipes. The charged water running through the pipes may very slowly dissolve mineral deposits and hold them inside the water, but it's a very gradual process. If your pipes do need descaling, it's much better to get a local plumber to descale your pipes.

Water purifiers and water softeners serve different purposes, so the best one will depend on your particular needs. Water purifiers remove contaminants from water (such as bacteria, viruses, and chemicals), leaving you with ultra-clean and safe water. However, water softeners remove minerals from your water so that the water doesn’t leave stains around your house or cause plumbing problems.

The main difference between a water softener and a water filter is what they remove from the water. A water softener is specifically designed to remove hard minerals, while a filter removes a wider range of contaminants above a certain size, such as bacteria and other impurities. If your primary goal is to remove minerals, a softener is the best choice. If you want to remove various contaminants for safety or taste, a filter is more suitable. Filters are also typically less expensive to install. Depending on your water supply's specific issues, you may need to install both systems for comprehensive treatment.

Most experts agree there’s not much difference health-wise between hard water versus soft water. That said, hard water is more likely to cause skin dryness and issues that go along with it, like an itchy or flaky scalp. Hard water can also decrease the life span of your household appliances and make it more difficult for soap to do its job.
