"The weather was not cooperative, but David and his helper stuck with the job including working several hours in the rain. The liner was installed much better than the old one (the original) had been. There are no wrinkles in the liner like there were in the old pool. I would recommend Dun-rite. They did excellent work.

When you need something done right, call me. I value honesty, integrity, and transparency above all. My father taught me from a young age that if you cant sign your name to a job, it wasn't done right. That's why I warranty all my work. With 12 years experience in construction, I'm confident you and your family will be pleased when I leave. I offer a wide variety of services, ranging from light electrical to sheetrock repair and painting.\n\nTo me, a big part of honesty is transparency. That means knowing exactly what you're paying, no hidden fees or strings attached.\n\n All in-person services cost a $75 service fee. this includes the time it took to get to your home, planning for the specific job, picking up any materials that may be needed for the job specified, gas, communication, and time taken to discuss your specific job.\n\nAll services also have a 15% tax to be calculated at the end of the day. this encompasses the service fee, work done, and materials purchased.\n\nHourly rates are $50/hr. this begins when I arrive on-site. During the months of March and April, the first 3 hours will be rated at 40/hour. If additional help is required, my helper will be rated at $25/hour.\n\nEach day if your job takes longer than 7 hours, the 8th hour will be provided free of charge.

"I have been very happy with them I've had them for like seven years now. The home warranty you pay a monthly fee I think ours is like $80 a month so when you need something you call them and they send somebody out. It's a $75 service fee, but anything on top of that they pay for. The home warranty thing, every time you buy a home people try to throw in there to make it sound like it's better or something and I have bought all different kind of houses all the time and this one does not do that. Actually it has worked out pretty good, but then you have to understand the rules, read the details what they cover and what they don't cover and what the rules are. It costs $80 a month because it's got all the coverage even the pool, pool appliances, garage door opener, fans everything so that is $80 a month. It is a $75 service fee every time they come out, but just have the base one to cover the air conditioner alone is worth it. For $75 they fix whatever."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.

ALTA/ACSM surveys are the most comprehensive type of land survey and, as such, tend to be the most expensive. These surveys have standardized guidelines and reports and are used in many kinds of real estate transactions to ensure consistent and accurate information is available for properties.
