"communication with the staff was pretty lousy. But once work began everything seemed good. My only issue was we were told that an inspector would come out and check work for and remove the building permit of the door, and they would send pictures of the work they did that never happened. We are still having the same problems. Plus the vapor barrier was destroyed and wanted us to pay to replace it. we thought it was new pretty much. Bottom line we never saw the inspector."

"Project went very well and the team worked quickly. Everything that I wanted was accomplished. The only issue is a crack that has developed on the back patio. This is due to the existing patio being poured over and not cut out due to being monolithic with the house foundation. The difference is how the concrete was married together is the reason for the crack and not the fault of work. Reason for 4 star is some property was damaged by operator of a skid steer. Parts were paid for by contractor but operator could have been more careful to avoid the issue altogether. Highly recommend."

"The vendor was on time, opened and dismantled the fireplace to allow for proper cleaning. used a drop cloth to protect our hardwood floor and keep the area clean. 
Following the inspection of the fireplace,in the course of the review we discovered a valve that could be replaced to provide for a more efficient start-up of the fireplace. It was not a mandatory fix and we were given the option of making the decision. No high pressure  sales pitch. We decided to replace the valve given the improved instant start to the fireplace.  Great job we would hire them again and recommend them unconditionally.

"I feel Commonwealth Contracting is very easy to work with. Mike Eippert always responds to any questions we may have had during the process of the work. This is the second major renovation we have had done with "Commonwealth" and both times we were very happy with the results. I will say you need to be patient with how long the project may take. We realized all of these contractors are extremely very busy at this time. However, quality was much more important to me than speed, and all of the work we had done is outstanding. As far as price they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however, I feel comfortable that what we paid for the complete renovation was very fair.
