"(WOW) “PLEASE READ”. I sent my service techs to this (Bed and Breakfast) because customer states that his Rinnai tankless water heater was not working. His water heater is 13 years old. This water heater has not ever been serviced, per customer, and was even dirty to the touch, even though installed in the kitchen. We stayed at the customers place for approximately two hours (2) troubleshooting the problem WITH Rinnai “tech support”. We tried everything we were asked to try and the service technician said the water inlet flow sensor was most likely the problem. We removed it while there, and sure enough the small “wheel” inside was almost completely stuck and would barely move. This thing, because it was never serviced, is “gummed” up etc. The manufacturer could not get the part the folllowing day, so i took a NEW Part off of one of my water heaters at the office and put on it for him the next day. That part did NOT fix the problem. By the way, i have not charged one penny for the approximately 4 hours i had in the job. He needed hot water (right now) as he put it , so the ONLY thing that i could do was to offer to install a new one. That usually costs between 2800-3500 dollars. I did it for 2100.00 dollars. Not only is that cheap, i now have 4 trips and LITERALLY did not make one single penny. The new water heater worked fine when it was installed. Approximately 2 days later the customer called and stated that the new heater was having an “error code”, so on Valentine’s Day February 14th Sunday, i personally went to his place of business ,as a courtesy, to see what was wrong. This is an 1800’s home. After spending approximately an hour looking over his plumbing, i found a (CHECK VALVE) not associated with the water heater, but on the water inlet side DOWNSTREAM, was bad. I did not have a new check valve of that style on the truck. The water heater was still working, although at a reduced rate, so i came back on Monday and changed it out AT NO CHARGE. Once working (I) offered to take his old unit back to my shop to see if i could get it working so he could install it in another room if needed. I do this periodically ,at my leisure, and at no charge. Approximately two weeks later he called “raising h***” for me to come install his old water heater in another place and i “had better do it all for free”. I told him that i had not gotten to his old 13 year old unit yet but would let him know when i could get to it. This is when he BLACKMAILED, or attempted to blackmail me by saying that “you WILL give me a new water heater and install it for free or “ i’ll cancel my credit card charge 2100” This person runs a “falling down” bed and breakfast and told me that he was “completely broke” and to please do it as cheaply as possible. (2100) is what i did. In closing, i did not make a single dollar at his place NOT ONE, and he threatened to STEAl the rest that he paid to me. I truly feel sorry for this person. This person is a BULLY to the max and possibly even a thief. He screamed and Screamed about returning his broken water heater (13 years old). I took it back on Monday morning around 10 Am and placed it on his back porch. I had called and texted him NUMEROUS times to let him know that we were bringing it back but he did not respond . I truly have no clue what else to do. Just for the “audience” information, i have contacted authorities about this man,in case there is further correspondence. Have a great day."

"We are literally rated NUMBER 1 in three states. I never received a call with a complaint, we always call our customers after the job, and everything was “perfect” at the time. What a shame to be purposely rated badly for personal gain."
"Thank you for your review. We appreciate your business. Please give us a call with any plumbing or gas projects you may have :)"
"Mr {Member's name removed}, While cordial, was never available to be home. He continued to call and ask us to do the job without him home and that we were to bill him later for payment. The times when he would be home he said he didn't have time for me to give him service.HMMMM. I am so sorry that he is disappointed but my company has a great reputation for good service. We however cannot remain in business if we take extreme risks with payment arrangements for a customer that we have not had dealings with prior to this call. While i am sure that this customer is very honest, we have no reason to go to someones house we have never met to do extensive work without the customers supervision.Cases like this usually end up in something not being done the way they expected and complaints arise from this also. Not sure what i was supposed to do. Thanks so much Curtis Peeples"
