"I contacted Cabinets.com because of a friend's recommendation. I am totally remodeling my kitchen top to bottom and had no idea how to go about creating a design or much else.. From the first phone call, I was treated with kindness, patience, and respect. I was assigned designer Greg Flassig. I was nervous about all the questions I had and whether he'd be willing to walk me though the process for as long as it took. Not only was he willing, but Greg calmly and patiently answered every single question. He spent as much time with me as I needed, explaining what I didn't understand, adjusting what I needed, and suggesting. what was optimal for. my needs. He even brainstormed solutions with me when I was unhappy with any aspect of the design. Not only did Greg professionally and compassionately help me, but he had a way of reducing my anxiety when it reared up. Greg was respectful of my budget and my needs, and truly heard what I said. He answered every single question I had, and when I didn't know what to ask, he knew what to say. I can't wait to get my cabinets and create my dream kitchen. After working with Greg, I have absolute confidence it will be perfect!"

"Erik was hired to install IKEA cabinets in our home for a full kitchen renovation. I felt confident in assembling the cabinets and finishing them (doors, hardware, drawers, toe kicks, etc) but we wanted a professional to make sure the cabinets were hung level, plumb, and square. From our first conversation it was obvious that Erik is an expert in all things IKEA. He provided some guidance and changes to our design to make some subtle improvements that would not have been obvious to us. He also immediately identified a critical flaw in our design that would have greatly impacted the final outcome but luckily we had enough time to get the proper replaced item. Communication with Erik was decent but be prepared for patience with emails and texts. Phone calls seemed to be most effective. Also be prepared to be patient for his schedule. Despite our efforts to plan ahead and get on “his radar” back in July, it still took several rounds of calls and discussions to finally get a week nailed down and the arrival day wasn’t determined until the week-of. You will need to be flexible. The installation was very fast - he had all of the work completed in one day. He is also very precise and detailed. He took time to show me how cabinets were anchored to the wall, that cabinets were level and prepped for the countertop template. He also cleaned up nicely, was courteous in our home and has a professional demeanor. The installation wasn’t without issue though. He accidentally stepped on a weak piece of our corner cabinet and broke it. His solution was to “sister” a piece below it. I was told it wouldn’t affect the countertops as this had no load bearing properties and it won’t be visible once countertops are installed. I believe that he is correct, and accidents happen, but it was disappointing as mishaps was something I wanted to avoid and large reason why we elected to hire someone rather than do the installation ourselves. No adjustment was made to the agreed upon price to account for the broken cabinet which I felt would have been the appropriate thing to do even it was a minor reduction. Overall, I would hire Erik again and be better prepared to be patient and clearly a communicate my expectations. He is precise, detailed, and very knowledgeable on IKEA systems. His involvement resulted in a nice overall outcome."

"We ended up going to another place first, We were going to go with them, ONLY because I didn't know about Marrett....I called my mom who told me to go check this company out. We went and were met by Marian. She was SO patient and educated on what would work for us. She showed us the flooring we ended up going with, BUT, I was being stubborn from Pinteresting too much...Enter my mom, she came with me the second time and pointed out the same flooring Marian showed us....and started the motherly "You won't regret this flooring" And Marian gave me the information on the flooring and I started to fall in love more and more. She let me take it home to see it on our flooring and we love it SO much, once our remodel is done, we will be doing our bedrooms in the same flooring. Yes, it IS a bit more expensive, BUT, I have bought from Lowes and Home Depot my whole life and I've always had issues and ended up spending the same amount with repairs and ripping flooring out to redo it. The extra few bucks on this company (it also depends on your choice, we went higher end) is WORTH IT!!! We are going to be doing our kitchen and we are going there for our counter tops and we are also getting carpet from them in our living room, THAT is how satisfied my husband and I are with this company. DO NOT waste time at Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc .Go to a reputable company, Marrett won't disappoint you."

"I am writing this review to caution consumers about Michaels Cabinets. I hired him to redesign and remodel my kitchen cabinets. First, his design software is archaic. He offers no 3D modeling. The big box stores offer much more in way of design. There were many mistakes in the designs and we caught most but not all of them. The quality of the cabinets is very good, but he does not manufacturer them. All items are shipped from a manufacturer and he has no inventory. Second, he does not install them; he hires a sub-contractor, and blames any issues on the sub. He consistently hounds you for money and it seems is running the business hand to mouth. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the design recommendations, and the overall lack of service. I have several outstanding issues and Michael has failed to acknowledge or address them."
