Ozinga Roof Sytems

Horrible company to hire for your new roof. New roof placed in October 2023. Ten months later and there are still loose ends that need addressed. What is worse; the owner of company was over payed by finance company and the overpayment was to come directly to me when project was finished. Ten months later and the owner of company still owes me 2500.00. He failed to show for a court hearing and I had to put lien against his property. Very unprofessional, no integrity and cannot be trusted.

Horrible Horrible Horrible experience. Has been 5 weeks and still odds and ends to take care of. Problem is with company. They were overpaid for project by finance company. The overpaid amount was to come back to me immediately. After weeks of phone calls and dealing with rep; I finally received part of money. I am still owed 3k. Again I'm being completely ignored. This has been extremely frustrating since I needed that money for financial obligations. I would never recommend this company.

They got us in super fast and quoted us a great price! We were super happy with our roof and the professionalism of this business! Would use them again!

the new roof was installed quickly and cleanly. there were multiple workers each day and they took the time to clean up each day.

Great. He was very honest about what to expect. What was going to transpire. They went over and above the call of duty.

Mr. Ozinga emailed (my primary means of communication) the day before the work began, arranged for a properly sized dumpster to be delivered the day of the project. Within 15 minutes of the dumpster arriving his crew was on ground and beginning the work. I checked in throughout the day to witness the progress both in demolition and repair/replacement. The crew worked well together. By the end of the day the new roof was on, the yard and driveway cleared (a magnet was run over the property to pick up any loose nails or metal) and Mr. Ozinga returned to walk me through the work and to let me know once the dumpster was removed (next day) he would be back to once more walk the property and run a magnet to collect any other metal/debris. All very professional. 

While replacing the flat roof I also asked him to evaluate the main roof for life time expectancy and a bay window roof. I will have him back to work on both.

We were and continue to be very pleased with the work that was done. The crew was professional, efficient and courteous in every aspect of the job. The attention to every detail of the work left us confident that not only did we have the right product but the right installation to give us years of reliable workmanship. John Ozinga, owner, paid attention to minute details that would be easy to overlook such as painting an existing vent to match the new roof to correcting a flashing problem that had previously been done that was allowing water into the house. Because of this care, our roof does what it is supposed to do in protecting our house but it also looks good from the ridge line vent to the drip edge.

Excellent.. He began as promised.. Completed job in a timely manner-in spite of some poor weather conditions..
His workers were congenial and polite.
It was a fairly big job --55 Square--but I couldn't be more satisfied with his performance or my new roof..

John Ozinga and his crew are competent and professional. He brought a large crew, completing the job in a short period of time. I am currently under contract for Ozinga to replace another roof.

All jobs are done in a very timely manner.  I have had instances where they have had to find alternative ways of doing some jobs and they are quick to speak to their reps for suggestions.

This was not a small job but the company owner had a large crew that worked extremely well and completed the job very quickly. The roof looks great and all the bid requirements were met and approved. John (the owner) also came back to install the gutter's leaf-protection system and painted the exhaust cylinders on his own time as a donation to our church. He and his crew were very diligent and their work ethic was extremely encouraging to see. We have had other contractors onsite for various projects and this company far exceeded their work examples. The overall cost of the project with Ozinga Roof Systems came in at half the cost of one other company's estimate and ten thousand dollars below the third estimate on the project (sealed bids were submitted). 

Before hiring John and his company I visited other worksites they were on in our area and observed the same work ethic and workmanship on those sites, which led us to consider hiring them for our project.  They cleaned the collection area for the old roofing materials and carefully canvassed it for debris and nails afterwards.  I was present on the job site during much of the work time and would highly recommend them for any roofing repair or replacement.  We would definitely hire Ozinga Roof Systems for other roofing needs or repairs.
