Did a great job.  Because of cost, decided to buy a power-washer and refinish my larger deck.  I do believe the price was fair for what they did. 

I initially purchased a "Big Deal" for painting a few small exterior areas. Later that summer, following a city home inspection, I hired Kiss Coatings to paint the remainder of the house Kiss Coatings did a thorough job and were respectful when it came to communicating and cleaning up. However, they promised to return the following summer to do any necessary touch-up painting, which they did not do. I sent repeated messages to ask them to follow through on a couple of areas but I never received a response.

Scheduling the appointment was done quickly. We did not go with them for the work because when he came out the estimate was very high. We would use them if their price was more workable. We received other estimates one of which was half the cost.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out great. I did not pay anything extra other than the big deal purchase. They were very good and I would like to give them an "A" across the board.

The owner came out to give me a price and to select a color, but just before the work started, the owner left the country and sent someone who barely spoke any English. When I had problems with the color because it wasn’t right, I had to go back and forth and try to reach the owner. They corrected the color at their expense, but it was a major headache dealing with them.

He called me first right after I purchased it, and I tried to schedule the service a month out.  After that point, I called him several times and could never get ahold of him.  I did get my money back from Angie’s List, so I was protected at the end of the day.

They were on time, did great work, finsished quickly and were a good value.  We hired them again to do some work on our garage.  They did a great job.

Job went very well.

I purchased this as a gift for my in laws. The overall job was done to their satisfaction. Due to the weather last year. They did have to wait for the actual staining. My mother in law wasn't pleased with that timeline, but again some of it was due to the weather. She would use this company again.

They were on time, did a professional job of staining my house and left n o mess behind.

      It took them awhile to get here mainly because they had advertised with a coupon and received may requests.
 They did come and did a excellent job.  There was no mess left and the house looks really good.

Very good.  They were responsive and good.

Not much of a  story:  Ben did an estimate, and workers came on schedule to do the labor.

I had purchased an Angies List Coupon in May knowing I would have my decke and shutters done this summer. Mr. Kiss came out promptly and gave me an estimate of charges to do the work and a time-frame to do it . in the meantime I got 3 other estimates from more local painting contractors and prices came in about $300 lower. I was in a quandry as how to handle this as I had already purchased the $199 coupon and his price was $300 higher. I called Mr. Kiss and explained the situation that I didnt want to waste the $199 and if he would match the other estimates. He explained to me why his price may be higher with quality, service and customer satisfaction being some of the factors. To my delight he agreed to match the other estimates and I must say his man Robert came out and performed an outstanding job on our deck and shutters and would surely use his company again. I would caution people to get your estimates first before purchasing a coupon so you would not have the same experience as I.

They contacted us promptly and showed up for the estimate.  Did a good job of explaining options with stains, pricing, and benefits.
They told us they would contact us to schedule the work.  A few weeks went by and we were getting into summer, so we contacted them to set up the work.  They arrived on the date/time scheduled and completed the work.  They were very neat and professionally; everything was cleaned up before they left.  The deck looks great!  We would use them again.

Committed the worse sins a contractor can do -- quit before finishing and never returned phone calls to complete the job.
Met Kiss Coatings through an Angie's List Deal of the Day.  
Kiss Coatings voice mail promises to return all calls within the hour.  Not true.  At first, weeks would go by before a return call.  No calls were returned after they left the job.
  

The deck had a terrible mildew problem, uneven floor boards and nails popping up.  It looked very dilapidated, as if it needed to be replaced.  They removed everything off of the deck  for us, including the grill and tiki torches and replaced them upon completion of the job.The entire deck, steps and even the lattice was METICULOUSLY power washed on one of the hottest days of the summer.  Then there was too much rain and we had to wait for the deck to dry out before it was sanded and the stain was applied.  You get to choose from a host of colors.  The service was timely and the crew were exceptionally nice people.  I really was not expecting this type of result on that old deck.  People are now asking is it a new deck!  I will definitely use them again in the future.

They worked tirelessly and completed the project on time and according to all estimates and terms.

Everything went well. The crew of workers were personable and perfessional. They thoroughly washed,sanded and painted a
l surfaces. I was very satisfied with the final results.

I initially hired this company through an Angie's list special for $395 for a day's worth of painting, and then added on two more days at their "regular price" because it was a big job. I wished I was not paying by the day, but instead by the job, since some of the workers did a lot of standing around smoking and talking. (i am still finding cigarette butts.) Others worked very hard, so it was a very mixed bag of how hard and how steady they worked. It was quite hot, so breaks for water etc were expected.
When the job was "done" there were many bare spots. I know a lattice is difficult, and this is where most of the bare spots were, but there were other bare spots as well. Ben Kiss was very willing to send someone to "touch up" and this person did a fairly good job. He was not perfect, however. He got paint all over the latch for the gate and did not think to lift the latch and paint under that part. Plus there were still quite a few bare spots, which ultimately my husband had to finish.
The price didn't turn out to be that cheap, but I believe it was fair since the total of the special and the extra days still was  less than another estimate we got for the job.
