"Excellent craftsman who is conscientious and detail oriented. Very reliable and fastidious in his preparation and clean up. I would have no problem recommending Pascal to anyone who has a high end cabinetry project. We are so pleased we will be calling on Pascal again in the Fall to get involved with a full closet overhaul."

"Working with Elite Enclosure was a awesome experience. Adam and Jameel were informative, professional and responsive. The day they showed up to do our projects they immediately went to work, prioritizing tasks to get the most done and and set up a date to come back and finish. They were both meticulous, hardworking and efficient; not to mention polite. Do yourself a favor and call these guys for your next project, you won't be disappointed!"

"These guys were great!! Reasonable estimate followed by very high quality work. Prompt work and attention to detail could not have been better. Even did some repairs that we didn’t think could be done. And finished in less than a week. I highly appreciate all their work and recommend them. Could not be more pleased. Give them a call!"

"I would like to highly recommend Jeremy at Linco Home Renovations. He installed an ADA walk-in shower for my elderly father, laid down flooring, installed cabinets, and modified a countertop for an updated kitchenette. He laid down protective covering and sealed off the construction area to prevent dust and other construction residue from getting into other parts of the residence. He took my calls, responded immediately, and performed flawless work. He is easily the most responsive, reliable, efficient, and conscientious construction worker I have ever had the pleasure to work with. You will not be disappointed."

Closets questions, answered by experts

If you’re on a tight budget, the least expensive material you can buy for DIY closet shelves is chipboard, a.k.a. particle board. This inexpensive material is made from a pulp of sawdust, resin, and glue that’s pressed together under high temperature and pressure. As you can imagine, it’s not very sturdy and might buckle under your blue jean collection, so you should only use it if you’re storing very light items.

Bedrooms and living rooms generally cost the least to remodel. Of course, the project price will depend on what you're planning to do to the space and the cost of the materials you choose to incorporate. Prices are typically lower than those of other remodels because major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work isn't often part of remodeling these rooms.

Walk-in closets are always the biggest and can easily be more than 100 square feet. Primary bedroom closets, even if not walk-ins, are the second largest category in most homes and sit between 30 and 80 square feet. Linen closets, utility closets, and built-in closets are smaller and, depending on their usage, tend to be between 10 and 50 square feet.

Yes, books are typically heavier than clothes, unless you have a collection exclusively of paperbacks or comic books. That’s why packing lots of books warrants careful planning and consideration. Consider packing up your reading collection first to determine whether you need to downsize it before loading it into your moving truck.

Yes, adding a built-in or custom closet generally increases your home's value and makes it more attractive to potential buyers. A well-designed closet adds utility, organization, and a touch of luxury, which are appealing selling points. Most homeowners see a return on investment (ROI) of 50% to 60%; for example, a custom closet can add about $1,000 to your home's value on average. The specific ROI depends on the type, with custom walk-in closets typically providing more value than reach-in closets. However, to maximize value, ensure the closet doesn't significantly detract from the room's usable square footage. Converting an entire room into a closet can actually lower your home's value. Similarly, using overly lavish materials may not recoup their cost. A good strategy is to add a closet that takes square footage from a non-living area, such as a garage, to create a mudroom closet.
