Gary came over to check out the situation and see the kind of pad we still had in place, then came back the next day with the replacement pad. He installed the pad, repaired some loose tack strip, and re-stretched the carpet. All went well and took about 90 minutes. We ended up getting a quote for similar work (though without the range of options for carpet) from a Big Box Home Improvement Store, and Tony matched the price (~$300 less). We were able to schedule the work quite quickly (just before Thanksgiving, so not a really easy time of year), and the installer was very competent. The installer was quite good and the whole house was done quickly. They worked around a handyman who was doing some work in one of the bedrooms. They also sealed up a cracking linoleum seam in the kitchen as part of the deal."
