"While we recognize that the [Member Name Removed]'s were unhappy with their experience, it must be noted that their statement contains numerous inaccuracies and misstatements. It appears that they relied upon an āexpert with the National Wood Flooring Associationā who violated that organizationās code of conduct in performing his inspection. We stand behind our work and our workers and always endeavor to make our customersā experience to be as painless as home remodeling can be. That being said, some customers need to vent and to blame anyone they can. We recognize that and reluctantly accept that. If anyone has any questions or concerns about this review, please feel free to contact us. Weāve been in business for more than 15 years, have a great track record and can provide countless testimonials from customers who found us to have exceeded their expectations."
"We appreciate your comments. We do specifically state that stain will bleed onto baseboards and other surfaces, and touch up paint is always recommended and should be expected when we have completed our work. Depending on the type of finish used, there are often very strong odors, and each person has a different response to how strong those smell is. We recommend each customer make their own decision about returning to the house at their own pace. We also recommend opening up all doors and windows and if needed, having fans running the first day or so to help dissipate any residual fumes. These discussions are had both at our initial estimate appointment and then explained again in our contract. We are sorry to hear you felt our quality and professionalism deserved a B rating. We certainly try to go out of our way to address any concerns brought to our attention, but if we do not hear of anything, we cannot address. Glad to hear you are happy with how the floors turned out! Enjoy the transformation! Thank you for your business!"

"This customer did not have the work performed with us, and is false in her statement that any services were performed. We provide verbal quotes for all prospective projects over the phone, and let everyone know that our minimum set up fee is $2750 prior to scheduling any on-site estimate appointments. That was no different with this customer, she was informed of the minimum set up fees and given verbal estimates for patching and repairing areas, as she described them over the phone. She opted to move forward and pay for an on-site estimate, which we charge $25 for. This $25 fee covers the time for our estimator to drive out to a customers home, ensuring they are there, and then spending 45 minutes to 1 hour with the customer about their project, and put together a written, detailed bid based upon the meeting. If the customer elects to have the work performed with us, we will then credit back the $25 estimate fee on the final invoice. In regards to the repairs and patching needed, these repairs were very complicated do to the fact that her existing flooring is laid directly on the joists, and the joints of the existing flooring are not sitting on the joists, therefore there are structural components to the repairs. The time and labor associated with these repairs was priced at our standard hourly company rate. In addition, we use Journeyman level carpenters for this work, that are in-house, W-2 employees that have been background checked and drug screened. We do not subcontract out and we do not provide handyman or day labor services. We appreciate the feedback and wish her the best in her flooring project."
