"Brian was very quick at responding to our request. He was able to fit us in and arrived promptly at the time he had stated. He had his tree trimmer work on cutting back the tree while he worked on trimming the parking strip bushes. He made sure we were happy with how much was trimmed. Between the two of them, they cleaned up all the debris and loaded it in their truck. They were very fast and our yard looked great We have used their services in the past and have always been happy with their work. We will definitely work with them again in the future."

"These guys are amazing! 70ft tree leaning and ready to fall into power lines, due to a winter storm and high winds. Called for help and they responded within the hour on a a late Friday afternoon. Daryl went over his plan for this hazardous teetering tree, giving advice and options, making sure we understood what was going to happen. Their cautious expertise was amazing, as they managed to secure, and fall this tree without damage to surrounding trees and power lines. Was so impressive to watch them work together, so efficiently in windy and freeaing temps. They cut 16 inch rounds, branches were stacked and ready for chipping. The price was very reasonable and they all were professional and personable. You will not find "A Better Choice" tree service. Thank you Daryl and Heidi!"

"Lightening Tree Service is an absolutely fantastic tree service and landscaping company. Emanuel and his team not only did an excellent job with the trees I needed to have cut down or trimmed, he also provided his insight and expertise when giving me recommendations for how best to trim certain trees. They were quick, concise, reliable, and left no mess after their work was done. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using their services again in the future."

"Brett and his team of three are very professional people to have caring for the stand of trees surrounding your home of 52 years. They are the hardest working group. There is no tree too tall or too big for these guys. AND they leave the grounds cleared of all debris. A good job well done again. This is the second time I have used R and B Tree Services, Inc. Thank you!

"Wish I had before and after pictures, the transformation is amazing! For the two years that I've owned my home the tree was an eyesore, now I can sit on my porch and admire it. Matt, the arborist, and the two Jasons were a great team, they even disposed of the dead branches I had removed from the plum tree earlier.
Since I hadn't requested a stump removal ( the plum) when I ordered the service they didn't bring the stump chipper with them, but returned another day to take care of it at no extra charge!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, carefully prune back dead branches—don’t wait for pruning season. This helps keep your maple tree healthy and also helps prevent large branches from falling unexpectedly. Don’t seal the cut branch—trees can naturally take care of these wounds—but be sure to remove any source of fungus or pest infestation to help save the tree.

If you’re planning on keeping the tree, unless the roots are invasive, there’s no need to remove them, as doing so can cause damage to the tree. If the tree has been cut down and the stump and roots are left, grinding and removing the stump can cause root decay for some species. For other species, the stump and roots will need to be removed to prevent pests, disease, and possible tree regrowth.

If you ever want to see the literal fruits of your labor, you’ll need to prune your peach trees. Without pruning, the trees may not grow or bear fruit since the nutrients will be divided among too many offshoots to provide any with enough energy to produce the peaches. Plus, if parts of the peach tree become diseased or pest-ridden, pruning can nip those problems in the bud.

An unsafe tree can cause serious damage to your home and property, so tree inspections are important to ensure your home isn’t in danger from a nearby tree. Unhealthy trees can also be unsafe trees, as diseases and insect damage can compromise a tree’s stability, leading to potential damage and safety risks.

Trees naturally want to grow upward, so one may straighten all by itself, though this only comes into play when a tree is leaning just a small amount. For trees growing into an awkward position or those leaning heavily in one direction, the above steps are necessary to ensure the tree gets back on the right path. This also holds true for trees planted in a spot with unstable soil.
