It’s a two-story townhouse with steep steps that are all carpeted and then second floor carpet and living room carpet we have had the carpets cleaned numerous times in the past and they have been OK. Gary came over to check out the situation and see the kind of pad we still had in place, then came back the next day with the replacement pad. He installed the pad, repaired some loose tack strip, and re-stretched the carpet. All went well and took about 90 minutes. We can't tell that anything happened to the carpet, and the pad feels the same as the original pad (it was about 2 years old)
