"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I had a wonderful experience hiring Jose with Luna Masonry from beginning to end. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. "We hired Steller Construction and Remodeling LLC to build a deck/Catio in May 2024. Micha (the Owner) was straightforward to work with and reach throughout the process. We are retired and live on a set income. Even though we had some lower estimates from other companies, we felt so confident with Micha's (the owner) ideas that, after looking at other reviews/images of this company, we decided to go with Steller Construction. Micha's team was absolutely amazing !!! Ray, our project's lead employee/carpenter, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and had an unbelievable work ethic! The rest of the team did an awesome job as well. They communicated well throughout the whole job always checking in with us to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were professional and very polite everyday. At the end of each they completely cleaned up the area. We have worked with one other construction company and a roofing company when we did some remodling on our last home and did not have a good experience with either company. We were very nervous about having to go through another bad experience. We were so pleasantly surprised that Steller Construction turned out to be a great decision! "Awhile back I decided it was time to replace my old, crumbling shed. After doing a search on Angie’s List, I hired Gryphon Construction because they had good reviews. The process worked, and I must say that I’m super happy with the results I got. Not only were Akeem and company great to work with, they did an excellent job, and and I’m extremely happy with my new shed. (The only reason I’m not calling it “shop” is because I didn’t have power installed). It’s solid, has a locking door, as well as a window, and looks more like a tiny house than the shed that proceeded it. And while they were here, I also had them install a new track for a broken pocket door, which involved removing some dry wall to get at the work-out track. They did a great job on that, too, and I’m very happy with the remodel. I found them to be pleasant to do business with, as well as very conscientious, timely, and they have a strong sense of craftsmanship, which, after all, is what we all want in a good contractor. I highly recommend them!"
